I purchased this to add as an extension to my Bluetooth car dongle so apprentices, other techs, and myself included won't accidently leave it in a clients vehicle. So far it seems to be working perfectly.

I think I’ve tried these cables from every style, every manufacturer on Amazon. This one is by far my favorite. Short enough to keep my $1600 VCI off the floor of customers nasty cars. And has working clip locks. It holds on well from both ends. Very durable without being too stiff.

Excelente accesorio

The cord from my scan tool adapter had lost all of its plastic outer guide, rather than replace the whole cord I purchased this and attached it with heavy duty rubber tape. Permanent fix.The plastic guide on this extension is heavier and less likely to break than what came with my scan tool.All 16 pins are connected.

I purchased because it was difficult to reach into the dash of my motorhome. It’s not a standard plug in like your car. This was great, but still too short. I’m returning for another one, same brand but longer.

gives me the flexibility for drive test without worrying whether the OBD interface is going to end up under my feet
