Small blocks, but very effective, and inexpensive. If I get a bigger job I will get more of these, in the bigger size.

Good size for smaller buffing wheels or pads. It's a little small for use with larger wheels.

Works as it should

Excellent product, works well preparing the blade edge of my straight razors and my cooking knives.

They're pretty small and pretty hard

They work fantastic, but extremely small amounts. I use to get these the size of gold bars for 10 bucks each.

BEWARE: READ THIS FIRST: Polishing compounds come in a variety of 'wetness'. Meaning how soft and well they apply to a buffing wheel. I found this out after ordering this, as these are SUPER DRY, very small and barely transfer. Useless for foam applicators for example, even with plenty of heat. There is no description mentioning any of this on this page, which is annoying. I don't know if they are designed to be this dry or if they are expired in some kind of way as they simply flake off without transferring to my wheels.

Works good, on aluminum, but if it's rougher you may have to sand a bit before getting the smooth Shine your looking for.
