16 lb Weighted Vest to Begin
16 lbs is truly a good starting point. I am a 56yr female: 5’7” and 160 lbs. Although after a few months, I may bump it up to a heftier weight. My Dr wanted me to wear it around the house while doing chores (let’s add in I maintain my pool and mow (not a ride-on) 1/3 acre and do all the yard maintenance, along with cleaning the house. I don’t hire people. Either way: lots of squatting, easy to get 9,000 steps of daily walking while wearing it. I just had a full physical with a bmi measurement. I’m in the process of losing weight. This has helped me build more muscle than fat. This is a bonus of wearing a weighted vest while walking, doing chores, climbing stairs, etc. I would never wear while driving. Ha! Some people. I did not notice any chemical smell from the vest even from day 1. 16-lbs is relatively easy for me to get on although that was a hefty box initially at the front door. I believe the vest weight is evenly distributed front to back. If I had to complain, I wish the straps were 1+ more or perhaps 1 smaller strap in addition to the other straps. I have the straps cinched all the way for a better fit for me and yet it feels a bit big. Some might say, it should fit the way it does and yet it does not slip around. It’s comfortable enough to wear while getting chores done, therefore if you are walking 2-4 miles, it should be comfortable enough. My firefighter wears a 60lb vest to walk to the gym or walk 5 miles to add further perspective. I will most likely bump the weight up to a 25lb next. If you are just starting out, buy the 16 lbs. I know it will feel heavy at first, but that will quickly be nothing.

Great quality for the Price!
Great quality and great price! 16lbs feels like 20lbs, gives me challenging workout. Love the pocket holder for my phone and keys. I Highly recommend.

Easy to use and effective!
It took a few days to get used to this weighted vest, but after 2 weeks of use, I love walking for a hour with it on. I feel that it actually helps me to maintain a better posture while walking and I don't have the back pain I had from leaning forward. The fit is adjustable and the padding is comfortable on my shoulders. I am 53 and thought this would be harder to get used to using this vest, so I am very pleased how effective it has been for me! It had a bit of a chemical smell to begin with but airing it out has helped and it doesn't bother me anymore.

Pacearth 30 lb. Weighted vest for me a 210 lb. 6'0 male.
Great product. This 30 lb. weight vest has wide enough padded straps to distribute the weight comfortably for me and comes with a dedicated phone holder for listening to podcasts while I walk. This is my second purchase from Pacearth in relation to weighted vests and I think it is a good product!

Just as pictured
Love this comfortable weighted vest. Looks & fits great. Perfect for everyday wear working around the house, yard, out for walks or a little added resistance to any workout.

Comfortable and affordable
This is a simple moderately comfortable weighted vest. I have broad shoulders and a chest so I do wish the vest went down a bit further on the sides. Sometimes it can feel like it’s cutting into me, but I can re-adjust and it’s usually fine.

Great Weighted Vest
This vest is great and I like it and the quality. The downside is it’s just a bit big for me not in fit but in the ability to tighten it enough. I would advise if you are smaller of considering other options. I am keeping this since I am mainly wearing it around the house. I may purchase another that doesn’t put so much pressure on my shoulders which I do believe would be alleviated if I could tighten it a bit more.

A Weighted Vest That Doesn’t Judge… Even When It Should
I’ve tried enough workout gear to know that most weighted vests fall into one of two categories: The kind that feels like you’re wearing a medieval punishment device, or The kind that claims to be “unisex” but fits like a confused backpack. This PACEARTH vest is neither. It’s the rare piece of fitness equipment that actually behaves. The fit is snug without being suffocating, and the weight is distributed so evenly that you don’t feel like you’re being pulled into a sinkhole. The reflective stripes are a nice touch too — perfect for those early‑morning “I swear I’m going to start running again” moments. Durability-wise, it’s built like it expects you to quit before it does. The stitching is solid, the material feels tough, and nothing shifts around when you move. I’ve done walking, jogging, and one regrettable attempt at burpees, and the vest stayed put like it was rooting for me. My wife even said it “looks professional,” which is her polite way of saying I finally own workout gear that doesn’t make me look like I’m training for a low-budget action movie. Bottom line: If you want a vest that adds challenge without adding chaos, this one delivers. It won’t magically make you enjoy cardio, but at least you’ll look like you know what you’re doing while you suffer.

Every now and again I buy something and feel the need to write an instant review 🤣 I’m training for a Hyrox event and came across an article recommended running with a weighted vest. After researched quite abit I got down to three on Amazon and plumped for this one. It came today and I went for two runs with it this evening, to the gym and back. Pro’s 1. Easy to set up, literally ready to go out of the Box 2. With the straps tightened it felt an extension of me when running. It fitted snugly around me and didn’t feel like it was bouncing with even weight spread (I’m 5’7”, 72kg) 3. Plenty of room for my arms to swing 4. A lot of similar products have reviews talking about a strong smell, there was none with this 5. Research the weight. There is a good guide above, I went for 12lbs (5.4Kg) which is c.7.5% of my body weight. It felt comfortable. 6. It felt comfy on the shoulders - I fitted the shoulder pads Cons 1. The phone pocket kept hitting me in the face. However it can be removed, or moved elsewhere which I will probably do for my Next run 2. It would be good to have a pocket for a small water bottle or gels on the front Overall delighted with the purchase and can see it really helping my training.
