will this Mic work with a Cobra 29 LX?

I would think it would work on that radio. It works on my President HR 2510. It is a great Mic for the price. I get really great responses from other SSB on how the audio is clear and loud and run the Mic on #3 I only talk SSB.

will this work with a cobra 129 ltd cb right out of the box or are modifications needed?

So long as it's a four pin connection it should work fine. I like it. It's powerful and clear.

Sounds great once mod done - updated 2021

Once modified, sounds amazing on AM on CRT6900. Had two so far. 2021 - Bought another, my third one. This time its internal components are now surface mount. Doing the mod made no difference. Quiet as a mouse. Ordered KPO mike. Wont buy this one again. Such a shame.
