I have no idea how Revlon gets away w selling those ridiculous, useless tweezers they do. These microsurgical tweezers are phenomenal!!! I will never go back to the other. Baller purchase. Kinda' big time annoyed I have 10 other girly pop Revlon Tweezers to get rid of now. Grrrr.... #JustSayin

I bought this for the purpose of handling small needles and fine suture materials in the range of 5-0 and 6-0. It seems to be a fine instrument and has tungsten carbide inserts with cross serrations in the jaws. The curved jaws are able to grasp fine hair strands so it should be enough for fine suture materials. The locking mechanism works well. The only complaint I have is the handles feel a little sharp at the edges, which would be better if it was smoothened out a little. They seem like they can withstand autoclaving, however, I have not tested them out personally. I'll have to try them out and see.

I wasn't familiar with the locking device, so I couldn't understand why they weren't opening after locking. The picture tells the story: one half of the locking mechanism was hanging up on the other. It was easy to correct by very slightly bending the—circled in the photo—bottom half of the mechanism towards us so that it would slide properly against the upper part. It does not take much force and was easy to bend the part into compliance. Once that was solved, they are very well made and with jaws that are formed excellently and come together perfectly aligned. I like them.

Price is great. These needles holders tend to break after 20+ sterilization cycles, regardless of the cost of these units.

Stay away from this product. It is a piece of garbage. Not worth the savings. Get what you pay for. Need to use 2 hands to open them and hard to manipulate to suture with.

This needle holder is made with fine detail. It hold the 5/0 needle with tight and strong grip on tungstun tip. The auto lock is crispy and reliable. It's a good instrument for daily practice.

Works well so far used it 3 times. Hopefully it doesn't break soon. I would however prefer size 5 than size 7.

Cheap. Had a few for about a year. The locking mechanism is starting to fall apart. Good for a starter until you can afford HuFriedy. Will be upgrading soon.
