This Clog Remover Will Save U $$$
I was totally pleased the effectiveness of this tool. Overall, it saved me a LOT of money that would have gone to a plumber and was easy to use. Definitely a good tool to have on hand. I highly recommend!

Avoid the insane cost of a plumber!
Had a giant ball of long hair clogging the bathtub drain and come to find out it was more than 3โ down the drain pipe. Ordered this handy little auger and for $30 was able to remove a clog in about 5 minutes that a plumber would have charged $300 minimum for in our area. Bonus is if it happens again, the fix will be 5 minutes of my time vs having to call the plumber again for another $300 visit. Is this a professional grade auger? Absolutely not. Does it have its faults and foibles? Sure, but for $30 all I care about is the fact that it got the job done. That makes it 5 stars for the price in my opinion.

Great DIY drain tool that pays for itself fast โ just not built for heavy-duty abuse
Great DIY drain tool that pays for itself fast โ just not built for heavy-duty abuse Iโve used this on a couple of slow drains around the house, and itโs one of those tools that immediately justifies its cost. If youโve ever dealt with a clog and considered calling a plumber, this is a solid alternative. The 25 ft cable is long enough for most household situations, and itโs flexible enough to navigate bends in typical sink and shower plumbing. I like that you can use it manually or attach it to a drill depending on how stubborn the clog is. For hair and buildup, it works surprisingly well and clears things out faster than expected. What I like: * Very effective at clearing common clogs (hair, debris, buildup) * Long, flexible cable reaches deeper into pipes * Manual or drill-powered option adds versatility * Saves a lot of money vs calling a plumber * Comes with gloves, which is a nice touch for cleanup Things to keep in mind: * No auto-feed or retract, so youโll need to guide it in/out manually * Can get messy (normal for this type of tool) * Build quality is decent but not heavy-duty โ better for occasional use * Drill attachment works, but donโt expect pro-level durability This feels like a great homeowner tool rather than something for frequent or professional use. For occasional clogs, itโs more than enough and very satisfying when it works. Bottom line: A highly effective and budget-friendly drain auger that handles everyday clogs well, just best suited for light-to-moderate use rather than heavy-duty jobs.

It actually works
This thing is so easy to use and unclogged my bathroom. After Iโve used it I let the whole thing dry outside of the holder thing and then place it back inside. Slow and steady is the thing to keep in mind while using it. Whenever you feel like itโs getting stuck or wonโt move anymore, you should lock the cable and just keep turning it for ~ 2 min and slowly insert more after that and just keep it going. Iโll have to look into what type of oil to coat the cable (the metal) in but I would say this auger is sturdy .

Great auger for a homeowner - One caveat!
Just received and recently used to "clear" a drain and it seems of decent quality (did not use the power drill attachment). I got it to replace a much, much older and very unused auger I've had for many years. My one caveat - the thumb screw to "stop" the snake portion of the auger is somewhat cumbersome to use when trying to fix the length when using. I have since seen (for about equal value) an auger with a squeeze trigger with automatic stop) that I believe would be more efficient. Maybe something to think about?

Worked great after a quick mod to fit drain, saved $300+ plumber visit.
Worked perfectly, probably saved me $300+ on a plumber. I did need to trim the tip off the coil since it wouldn't fit through my pop-up drain cover, but the smaller diameter worked well for my bathtub drain. Got the full 25 feet of extension and cleared the clog completely.

May have been a 5 Star/ Not "heavy duty" ....
Had a clog in the sink drain bought this unit with high hopes. At first glance it seems of good quality as far as being heavy duty. But as I started using I soon discovered that this was not to be. Though it has a heavy feel to the materials this does not indicate HEAVY DUTY. As I started to use the unit it made some head way, but then began to fail quickly. I then tried to hook to the Drill Chuck. This was useless do to the fact that the gear failed almost immediately. I am older construction worker skilled in most phases of install work (electric, plumbing, concrete, carpentry, painting etc /family biz). I was surprised because I hadn't even used it in the drain yet I was just preparing the unit for use in drain. #1 I then was reduced to use it manually which was no problem I didn't think I was going to use it w/drill chuck. But This unit was sold as either or. #2 As I manually navigated the recesses of my drain I thought HEY wow this this is working. But much to my dismay this was not to be. #3 I soon found that the snake though it did navigate 12' or so, then turned back upon itself. YES! As I was feeding line into the drain I felt resistance and thought it was working. But suddenly I saw the end/front of the line working it's way back to me through the opening I started sending it down. i just lol Final conclusions though this is a solid design it is not to Heavy Duty. I couldn't recommend this unit to my friends. Between the gear slipping ( and I did lower the clutch on my drill ) and the light gauged metal allowing it to turn back to exit it's entrance I would examine other options.

Spent $30 and fixed the drain myself, saving up 10x that amount had I hired a pro.
Had one of the nastiest main sink drain clogs I've ever seen in my life. Both vanity sinks were backed up. I tried some methods to loosen the blockage with baking soda, vinegar and hot water. I tried blocking one sink by closing the trap and plunging the other. That only made things worse and what had been slow to drain was now stuck in both sinks. After consulting with some YouTube videos, I decided to purchase this auger. I liked that it came with gloves, because I didn't want to get that nasty sludge on my hands. The box arrived within hours and I got to work. The gloves worked, but they're not very durable. In fact, I put a whole in one of them just trying to pull it on. They are labeled with an "L", presumably for large, but my medium sized hands were a snug fit. The auger itself is easy to use. I used the hand crank as opposed to using a drill and that seemed to work just fine. I wound up unclogging the drain pipe within 10-15 minutes and saved myself a bundle. $30 for the auger compared with $150-$300 or more, to call in a plumber. I'm happy with the results.

Extremely flimsy
Extremely flimsy. Only worked once, then the flimsy handle snapped when I tried to clear the same blocked drain . Total waste of money!!
