Is this capable of 24 bit transmission or is it limited to 16bit like the 1mii?

No. On my Windows 11 PC the operating system only allows 16 bit / 48 khz and is greyed-out (can't be modified). This effectively defeats the purpose of having the aptx-hd codec. aptx is 16/48 whereas aptx-hd is 24/48. So even though the devise is capable of transmitting at a 24 bit resolution the OS will not provide it any 24 bit material to transmit. As far as the transmitter is concerned the source material is encoded with a 16 bit resolution.
