Freshness of Himalayan Salt
I wanted to try Himalayan Pink kosher salt. I had some at a chef friend's house and really liked the distinctive flavor. I have high blood pressure and have an iron-clad NO SALT in cooking policy in my kitchen, both my cooking and my hubbies, since he has mostly taken over the cooking as working weekends only! I have spent the past 10 years perfecting the ability to cook without salt and still have delicious foods, palatable to all! I do use table salt; in fact I adore salt! I crave salt! Hence, I wanted to experience this salt. This was the best buy with the best reviews on this site. I am glad I bought this and read all the reviews! This is a fabulous buy for the quality of this product!!! It is very course and packaged well in a re-zipable package. It is very clean and fresh! It tastes divine! I put it into a pepper grinder and grind as needed! I indulge myself in a tad of this as needed at the table. It is very potent; a tiny bit will do the job!!! Please be aware of this! It is much stronger than any other salts, so a tiny bit does the trick! I highly recommend this product and this seller; great service and product!

Himalayan Salt
A lot for the money spent on this one.. 1KG. Very good value for money. Its course and works well in a grinder. It makes food taste nicer than adding normal salt to it. Packaging was sealed and strong. Also resealable. I wont be running out for a long time now. I am pleased with the product. Good quality. Overall, good experience.

Very course Salt. Works fine for salting boiling water but you couldn't season with it due to the size of the "Rocks" But overall good value

much cheaper than my local ethnic food store and of course the health store, i was happy to see this available with such quick delivery! i buy pink salt all the time, its great for cooking. i don’t mind the size of the pieces, my grinding mill has no issues with it and i never have big chunks in my food! the flavour is great and you get a lot of salt for the price. in the local shops, i’d get 300g for this price!

I don’t understand other’s comments about the grind-ability. I have no problem whatsoever. Excellent quality and the salt quality is beyond expectations. Will definitely keep buying it.

I’ve used this lovely salt for a while now As it’s coarse I only use it in water while cooking vegetables It’s perfect for that use and I’d highly recommend it Bargain price for the amount you get
