Life Ionizer MXL-7 Undercounter Alkaline Water Ionizer Hydrogen Unit

I bought this because my husband is suffering brain cancer and everyone recommended he drink alkaline water. Most of our friends recommended Kangen water machines. Life Ionizers seemed to have a good product when rated head to head with Kangen, and the Life Ionizer units were lower priced. After waiting 5 weeks for the product to be shipped (the company told me afterward that the machines have to be calibrated individually), I called a plumber to install it, since it was an under sink model and I didn't want to tackle removing faucets, etc. The cold water connector had been left out of the package. I called. Another 2 week wait for the part to arrive. The plumber returned but the connector to the unit (MCU cable) did not have the correct connections. I called the company again, and insisted on help. (Evidently they had sent the "old" connection kit previously and the update one was sent). Plumber came again. The faucet did not work and was missing filter indicator on top. If the quality control just to send out the unit is so poor, what is the quality of the unit? We still don't have it running to find out. I purchased a competitor unit for our cabin in CO (the Alkalife 7000) and had it up and running in one day. It was simple and runs like a top.

I have had this model for several years now and love it. The installation was a breeze, I did it myself (any handyman could do it as well). The instructions were easy and straightforward. All of the included hardware worked perfectly. The company has been great, very good service. I love the electronic readouts telling my when to replace the filters. Also, the ability to adjust the alkalinity of the water is a feature I have used continually. One of the first things we noticed was the improved taste of the water, over both the tap water, and the other filtered water we were using. We use it to make tea, coffee and to cook with, and everything tastes much better. The technology has worked beautifully without any problems. As a holistic health consultant I wanted the best water for my family and to recommend to my clients. All in all, one of the best purchases our household has made.

We have the Life Ionizer Next Generation M7 Undercounter unit installed in our home. We received the product in a very timely manner and had no problems at all with the installation. The unit works wonderfully well, and we love the water! We would recommend this Life Ionizer to everyone who is interested in drinking the very best water for your health.

Does not perform as advertised. Waste of time and money.
