Well made and easy to use

Easy set up. Cuts well. Needed to align blade, which took about five minutes.

Brilliant scheppach Bandsaw very pleased.Bits that need assembling easy to do.Just right for my craft working hobby,highly recommend.

Ideal little tool at a very reasonable price for the DIYer. Very satisfied with the product. Instruction were a bit Woolly but plenty of videos on line regarding this product, how to set it up and a beginner’s guide. If you want a band saw for an amateur workshop I recommend this

Appears well made and is easy to set up. The saw cuts well and is quieter than expected. I recommend cleaning it out after use as a lot of sawdust ends up inside the unit. The blade is easy to adjust and change if needed.

Expected better from German engineering was very difficult to cut a straight line even using the guide.

I ended up returning this because it wasn’t accurate on anything thicker than approximately 30 millimetres, this was my first bandsaw and although it was very good at cutting thinner pieces intricately it couldn’t do the same thing thicker pieces.

Only used once so far and cuts wood like butter. The only criticism is it arrived with the blade twisted and it took a bit of figuring out how to get it straight and set up properly. The instruction manual could be clearer and anyone without a bit of technical/ mechanical knowledge would really struggle. Also, the cutting guide is not 100% reliable that it's set square to the blade as there is play in it. Apart from that the build quality seems pretty solid and it's a bargain for the price.

Only buy this tool if you are ready to set it precisely and have an engineering eye to understand how it works and what to expect. This is a cheap tool with a price that meets the design and the quality.When I say low quality, it means a designed quality, where the designer saves on quality to provide you with the price. For example you have a light table, that may not be horizontal unless you set it precisely. On the other hand, the fabrication and labour are good and the design did not compromise on safety. Opening the engine doors will cut the power of the saw.This is a good choice as a first band saw if you intend to cut small pieces.
