Super Sharp & Light!
This is a very lightweight pocket knife that is extremely sharp, thanks to its ceramic blade. Comes with a deep-carry clip so it slips into your pocket nicely. The blade is very sharp that makes it a great EDC knife. Keep in mind ceramic can, and will crack or chip under impact. So longevity of the blade really depends on your usage and care. The carbon handle looks great and the blade flips open fairly well if less smooth than ball-bearing mechanism type. Overall, it's a great-looking knife that is both light and sharp.

Knife arrived with a sharp blade
Knife is good quality but blade is fragile. Broke the tip of the blade trying to pry open a battery cover on a toy. I don't think this knife is worth the cost. Would have thought this ceramic blade would have held up better.

Great every day carry.
I was looking for an everyday carry knife, i have a new job that requires me to be in a shirt and tie so this clean cut knife works great. This knife has top quality materials carbon fiber and ceramic. Ceramic is super sharp but brittle so this knife is great for light duty jobs.(not that its not tough but i wouldn't want to chip the ceramic) Cutting tape, paper, cardboard and other soft materials that don't require much force. This knife feels good and has a sharp edge. Ceramic is harder to sharpen but its edge will last longer and i will most likely be using the diamond sharpener. This knife is exactly what i wanted a light, clean looking, light duty, sharp knife. Is sits deep in my pocket and does not stand out. its also not bad just having it sit in your pockets not clipped on. If you are looking for a knife to beat up this is not it. but if you want something super light, sharp, and sleek this is what you need.

Bad azz
I give this thing 5 stars, If you're any type collector or just the guy who always carry a knife...get this. You won't regret it. It's light, sharp, carbon fiber handle...it's just cool. I even had a when I asked if he sold ceramic folding knives. He said no and went into his sh-piel about why he wouldn't carry a ceramic knife...all the things people say when they haven't experienced it for themselves, but "heard". I pulled this one out and let's just say, his body language contradicted his previous statements about the downside of ceramic. He looked like a kid at Christmas He called over his adult son too - he started molesting my knife too! The black glossy finish of the blade was deceiving...they thought it had metal in it. These guys couldn't stop ogling it. Oh yeah, the whole ceramic brittle theory was put to the test - accidentally just before this whole incident. My buddy was handling the knife as we walked up and when he went to hand it back to me, i accidentally knocked it out of his hand...it fell...in slow motion....it fell...over four feet....clank clank clank....hit the asphalt pavement. I swear...it was like the scene from Christmas Story where Ralphie lost the lug nuts in the snow...I wasn't sure if the blade was going to be chipped, cracked, or just broken in two pieces. I picked up the knife and guess what...where's Borat..."Great success!". It held up. Not even the handle sustained damage. So there it is. Of course, if you buy this type of blade, hopefully YOU KNOW IT IS NOT A PRY TOOL. I have a Schrade 10 for tougher jobs! :-) but for cutting needs, this has made quick work of several boxes already. I had seen Boker German steel kitchen knives before and they looked ok. I say bravo Boker...or should it be Danka shan!

VERY well-made!
While I don't collect knives, they definitely interest me. A good friend tipped me off to this Boker, which I'd seen in a shop, previously. First, the ceramic blade makes razors look dull. It's lightweight...very light for its size. Plus, the pivot is smooth, and the tension light enough, it's quite easy to wrist-flip the blade out, one-handed, if you like. I do kinda wish the clip were either screwed on, which is impractical but the best of both worlds, or there were a version available without it. There is another review here which mentions stainless-steel used instead of say, titanium. This is all about cost. I have quite a bit of titanium in me, and any metal detectors made in the past 20 years sounds on me, even if I walked through one, naked. Of course, the sensitivity is adjustable on these machines, so they're all just a bit different in behavior. I like this knife so much, I surprised said good friend, above, who tipped me about it initially, for his birthday by sending one to him, unannounced. He's quite happy with it, and he has collected knives for decades. Edit: I almost forgot. The blade on this instrument is dark gray, and very polished. It's extrememly nice-looking, and the carbon-fibre handle isn't over-the-top showy carbon-fibre, but nicely done. Low-key, like it should be. The pics don't show the true color of the blade. It's very similar to the one pictured here: [...] The blades may be identical, in fact, with the handle being the only true difference.

Great product for what it is, not to be your beat on knife by any means but thats expected with ceramic.
Not sure what other people are complaining about but this is a nice light weight and well made knife. Yes its ceramic, Yes its not to be used for prying things and doesn't like to be abused. But for an everyday carry around knife its sharp and light weight and holds an edge. Finger prints on the blade do happen but it won't rust, and easy to clean.

Ceramic and Carbon Fiber
At first blush this knife is an engineering marvel of light weight and precision. Considering the typical utility of a steel pocket knife, this ceramic and carbon fiber beauty appears fragile and less utilitarian than is justified by its price. It is still a favorite carry for it's light weight and beauty, although a standard "heavy duty" model is always nearby for chores not suitable to the ceramic blade.

Very good and light
