The best bluetooth adapter for the Nintendo Switch!
The HomeSpot Bluetooth Adapter Pro is a must-have accessory for the Nintendo Switch. Design I appreciate the very sleek and low-profile design. The LED panel makes it clear what functions are going on. Also, the LED panel does not stay lit the entire time so it is not distracting. I did have to remove my case in order to connect the adapter to the USB-C port but it isn't really a major issue. Audio It has great connectivity with no latency. Its perfect for listening to music and in-game audio while playing video games. You can also take phone-calls while playing video games and the game audio does not mute. Music will continue when calls end if you were listening to music previously. The internal mic works perfectly for in-game chat like fortnite. I also use the adapter to connect to my work desktop to participate in meetings or calls and my coworkers can hear me just fine. Functionality The set-up guide is very simple to understand. Connecting your headphones and smart device is quick and I like that the HomeSpot Pro will recognize the headphones so you don't have to reconnect each time. Being able to adjust game audio and smartphone audio is a great feature to have and is simple to do using the volume controls on the HomeSpot Pro. As mentioned earlier, the LED panel makes it clear what functions you are performing. Overall the HomeSpot Pro is a very useful accessory to have especially since the Nintendo Switch does not have bluetooth built-in. The design and functionality of the HomeSpot Pro stands out and brings it above any competitive devices. I hope a future version of the HomeSpot Pro will allow 2 wireless headphones to connect and listen to game audio at the same time (just like the original HomeSpot bluetooth adapter).

Perfect for gamers who have a broken headphone jack on their Nintendo Switch
The headphone jack on my Switch broke. And this wouldn’t be a problem if i simply used Bluetooth audio. But, I like to play games requiring a gaming headset - requiring two way audio. And many of the USB-C headphone adapters still require your headphone jack to work with a mini-microphone. The cost and time of replacing the headphone jack was too high and complicated. And adapters like these always seem to come with hidden limitations. But, I’m honestly blown away by how many features this adapter has. It works with my Bose Quiet Comfort Bluetooth headphones - which my gaming friends appreciate as it gives them a noise-cancellation audio feed. (And keep in mind, a lot of high-end Bluetooth headphones don’t work with gaming consoles for silly reasons). Yet, this adapter allows me to control volumes in a way that I didn’t think was possible. The only downfall is that I haven’t found a way to charge my Switch while I play. Thus, I need to make sure that I’m fully charged up before I log-on. But, if you have a defective headphone jack, which, I hear is quite common; then, this adapter is perfect.

A convenient and must-have accessory for wireless headphone users
I hoped to use this with my Airpods Pro so I wouldn't need to carry an extra pair of wired headphones for my Nintendo Switch. I was surprised to hear about the interconnectivity this device has between a smartphone and Switch, making it easier to listen to music or chat with friends while playing. I am pleased to report that it works just as seamlessly as it is presented, where it is only a matter of pairing your headphones and smartphone to the adapter. There are controls on the bottom of the adapter that let you adjust the headphone volume and the balance between sound coming from the Switch and your smartphone, allowing you to choose whether you want to hear sound from your phone or the game more clearly. The sound quality, in my opinion, is also nice and clear. I have tested this with two pairs of headphones (Airpods Pro and AKG Y500), which both sounded great. I have not tested the built-in microphone, but it is there for your convenience if you play online with friends or voice-chat often. Coupled with the ability to bridge your Switch and smartphone, you can also use this for voice-chat via the Nintendo Switch Online app, Discord, etc. The adapter also comes with an additional USB-C to USB-A dongle so you can use it while playing in docked mode, and it's perfect for a Ring Fit Adventure workout! My only disappointment with this device is the amount of lag I experienced when using my headphones. I understand there is a low latency mode, but I do not have any headphones that support it currently. Although the lag does not ruin the experience, it is noticeable to the extent of pressing a button and watching the action occur a short moment after. If you plan on using this with rhythm/music games, you may have to adjust the timing from the game settings, or use headphones that support the low latency mode. However, if you are not bothered by a slight delay in audio, than this likely won't be an issue for you. Overall, if you primarily use wireless headphones and want a seamless experience that is not disruptive or involves a mess of wires, the HomeSpot Pro is a nice accessory that can help you with that. I would perhaps wait for it to go on sale because of its somewhat high price point, but it is still a nice investment if you want that experience.

Supports Low-Latency, Nothing else like it
As far as Bluetooth adapters go, I believe this is the only one short of a home theater system that can take two inputs and play them simultaneously. It supports Apt-X low latency, and lets you know if the device you connected does as well. It's very good at establishing a connection with whatever device you're trying to connect it to. Even my most stubborn devices connect to it with less trouble than most. For my purposes, I have another Bluetooth adapter plugged into my laptop and connected to this one. I have it outputting to my Echo Studio. Works like a charm. I even have routines setup to have Alexa connect or disconnect to the Switch (Custom command "Connect bluetooth") and dim the lights to reduce the screen glare. I don't have to touch the HomeSpot at all for it to connect properly. I'd like to note that there is quite a bit of latency, which I honestly expected. That's nothing against HomeSpot though. It's just the nature of this tech, especially with that extra layer of input and the fact that the Echo doesn't support low latency. For me, the convenience of wireless and getting both devices connected to my Studio simultaneously was a worthwhile tradeoff. But if latency bugs you, going the strictly Bluetooth route may not be for you.

Works great but kinda irrelevant
Good news - Works great, does everything that it says on description. Bad News - Since it plugs in to the C-type charging port and eats up your battery very fast, I cannot use as much when you really need to charge your Switch

Good option for Bluetooth on Switch
I was tired of using my 10 year old Sony ear clip headphones with their obnoxiously long cord so I gave this a try and have really enjoyed it. The unit I got had a button that was missing the internal component needed to make it spring back up so it would sit flush with the rest of the unit and was hard to press. Thankfully I was able to contact the company with the customer service slip they included, and they sent me a new one. Great customer service! This does have a slight delay (less than half a second's worth) but it is somewhat noticeable. It shouldn't really be an issue unless you're playing a sound based rhythm game like Bit Trip Core in my case. Other than that, it works great and allows you to combine with audio from your phone!

Switch 2 Compatible
Works with Switch 2! I connected to my iPhone and listened to music/YouTube while listening to game audio via AirPods. Would recommend it for anyone wanting to listen to music while gaming.

NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT
Absolutely love this thing. It’s the ONLY device I could find that has: 1. Bluetooth output 2. Bluetooth input 3. USB input I don’t use this for a Nintendo Switch. I use it with my work computer so I can get audio from my work computer while simultaneously getting input from my phone (for music, youtube, etc.). Im really thinking about buying 2 or 3 of these in case mine breaks and they stop selling them. Audio quality is decent. There is definitely a slight reduction but unless you’re producing music then I’d say most people will hardly notice.
