❄️ Stay cool, stay ahead — compact power for the modern pro
The ARCTIC Freezer i13 X CO is a compact, high-performance Intel CPU cooler featuring a 100 mm PWM fan, 3 direct touch heatpipes, and 44 aluminum fins. It supports Intel’s latest LGA1700 socket (with separate mounting kit), offers whisper-quiet operation at just 0.3 sone, and comes pre-applied with MX-2 thermal paste for hassle-free installation and optimal cooling efficiency.

Great 30$ Cooler
It's silent and has knocked my CPU temps down by over 10C. I wish however they would have included a tiny bit of the Arctic MX5 paste on the side instead of pre-applying it. It's nearly impossible not to smear that around while trying to secure the heat sink to the front of the board. Also, this particular i13-X model does require the installation of a backplate... which is not an issue on nice cases like mine where you can access the back of the board from the back panel. It also fits well on my micro ATX mobo. I can't believe how quiet it is, either. I highly recommend this cooler, but maybe buy a tube of paste, clean the paste off the contact spot and CPU, then apply a pea sized dot in the middle of the CPU.

Perfect upgrade, easy install
For a Dell XPS 8940 overhaul - found a reddit that recommended this, and used the suggested combo of additional fans with splitters and removal of metal grating that builds up heat/addition of extra air flow holes in plastic facing. Dropped temps regularly climbing into the 80s under even medium load to 50s and 60s under heavy load. I run heavily modded versions of Stardew Valley (200+ with Smapi) using an Intel i9 and Nvidia card and this has done the trick for keeping everything cool and fast.

Very easy to install, competently tames an i5 11400.
For a sub-120mm fan CPU cooler, this performs admirably. I wouldn't recommend it for K chips, and I wouldn't recommend it for Intel chips with more than 8 cores. It works great with an i5 11400, though, keeping temps under 72C even under stress testing (I would guess that it would keep temps under 80C on an 11700, but taming a 10900 might be too much). Noise levels are very good, being very quiet under most loads. You can hear the fan spin up under a full stress load, but that's to be expected. It's not terrible. In that circumstance, it can be heard just barely above the noise of the case fans. If you really need a much quieter setup, then I would recommend a Scythe Fuma 2, but it's also twice the price of this unit, and taller.RAM clearance is excellent, and tower height is fairly diminutive, making both case and motherboard compatibility quite extensive. It is a breeze to install, rivalling Noctua's mounting system. For $30, this is a solid buy for a relatively basic budget gaming system, especially if you have significant cooler height restrictions.

Perfect Fit XPS8940 i7-10700 Cooling Upgrade!!
I just bought a brand new XPS8940 with the 10th generation i7-10700 CPU. The stock fan is horrible to say the least. When rendering video for social media, and pegging the CPU at 100% load, temps were hitting 100C+ sometimes, so I went in search of a better cooler. Came across this one in the reviews here, and the price is perfect with Amazon Prime. Arrival came quickly, and was handed right to me at my front door. Long story short, plug and play. This is really nice and so well built! I've had other major brands, and I love the way this one is made. The fan and shroud snaps right off for very easy cleaning, which has always been a huge issue with me when cleaning CPU heatsinks and fans. They made this one just for me, exactly how I wanted. Removal of the old stock heatsink is easy, just unscrew 4 screws and remove. The new Arctic Freezer i13X you will just screw on the new stand offs, then mount the braces with 2 new screws for each one, then screw down the new heatsink. The included backplate is not used because the heatsink screws directly thru the motherboard into the case itself. Perfect fit and temps went all the way to a down to a high of 60C is the highest I've seen it under a full load. INCREDIBLE!! I replaced the case fan also with a bigger better thicker fan with a high CFM, and it helps suck out all that heat that comes off this little jewel. Added another low CFM fan in the front to draw in cooler air, a small fan for the larger 8TB drive, and they all work in harmony together to really lower temps and NOW my idle temps are around 29C!! This one is the REAL DEAL!!

Does not come with 1700 Kit as stats on Amazon
Brought this for a cheaper small fan that could fit my case. Seemed to fit perfectly height wise, but the product did not come with the kit to fit 1700 socket mother boards even though it says it does. The document in the box says if it did not come with one, contact support. When you go to there website and click get a 1700 kit by contacting support, it takes you to a page to buy the kit instead, but they don't sell it outside of Europe as of right now. So now that I tried to get this on my mother board and used it, I cant return it. And I cant buy a kit. And its been a week with no reply from there support. So I just wasted my money on a useless product that will just go and into a landfill. Thanks...

It fits Dell XPS8940 with i7 cpu perfectly. Reducing cpu temperature significantly!
If you have a Dell XPS8940 with i7 cpu, this is the most important upgrade to lower the CPU temperature on the system. It fits Dell XPS8940 with i7 cpu perfectly using just the included mounting parts, and screws. The fan is very quiet and doesn't produce much noise during normal usage. When playing heavy game or video rendering, it would be noisier but bearable. I upgraded my Dell XPS 8940 with this cpu fan, a 90mm case fan in front of the power supply unit, a heatsink for VRM, and it has lowered the CPU temperature about 20 Celsius degrees.

Excellent product! One-year review.
I have been using this for a year now with my XPS 8940 (the 2021 model with the 11th gen i7-11700). When it is not under load it is quieter than the coil whine on the computer, meaning, essentially inaudible. When the CPU is under 100% load the tone of the fan is still very nice. It sounds more like air circulation than a spinning fan. With the room at 19C, at 100% CPU load, it doesn't go above 57C.Installation was easy as well because the included screws fit into the mounting points built into the computer's case.
