Good Cook Nonstick 6-Inch Round Smash Cake Baking Pan, 6", Gray

Returned. Just a little to small for what I needed

I bought this to make a smashcake for my son. The cakes came out evenly cooked. The only thing I didn't like about this pan is that it is not great if you are planning to layer a cake. The diameter of the cake will be smaller at the bottom and slightly larger at the top. I made a two-tier cake for my son and I had to trim the cake layers so that they would be even when stacked. This is crucial when it comes to frosting the cake. Otherwise, the pan was great because the lip on the edge makes it easy to take in and out of the oven. Also, it is truly non-stick; cake came out of the pan very easily.

I have used this pan for multiple recipes and it works great. The handles on the side make all the difference over other designs. It is easy to clean, and easy to remove from the over and the cakes/cornbread come out very easily and does not stick to the pan. I wish it was a bit thicker but so far, the pan works great!

My 7 year old granddaughter loves to bake when she comes over and this pan is the perfect size for a 2 layer cake if you use a small 9 ounce box of cake mix. I had one pan and decided I needed a second one so I could bake both layers at the same time. She was very proud of her little cake!!

I bought this to use to make a smash cake for my son's 1st birthday party. We decided on a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme so this cake pan was used to make the caterpillar's head. I did spray the pan to make sure that the cake did not stick and had no issue getting the cake out. The cake baked evenly with no issues at all. I like the handles on the side for putting it into and out of the oven. Definitely a good purchase.
