Solid fans
Bought these fans because of the price and the reviews. When I got my first set I installed them immediately. One of the fans must have been defective and after two days fell out of the fan socket. I inquired through montech about getting a replacement and they gladly overnighted a whole new box of them. Very professional very kind of them, thanks again. Let me start off by saying these fans are a fantastic value for the money, and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a budget argb fan set. They look good, are a little on the loud side past 1k rpm but do a fantastic job keeping my system cool. Plus they look good. As far as the defective fan, I’ve had defective fans from big brands like Corsair who never decided to replace the fan for me. Montech was kind enough to hook me up not only with a whole new box, but ship them within almost 24 hours to my door. Keep up the good work, would definitely recommend to anyone.

I needed white fans w/ RGB and I didnt want to spend $60/90/120/200
Don't forget these are 3 pin ARGB. You will need an adapter for the 4 pin 12v header. Day 10 review: Working like a champ. 3 Months of 10+hr per day usage still working like new 10/10/20 This arrived in less than 24 hours from hitting purchase. They work, they look great! They are plenty bright. Low speed: These start to idel at 600+rpm. I found that around 700-900 rpms they are silent at cooling my 360 AIO with PC at idle. High speed: I don't need more than 1400 RPM with using a 360 AIO, but under my full load 1650RPM its hard to tell if Im hearing the fans or if its raining outside. They are quiet. The fans I'm replacing hit 2100rpm and that was more of a rushing river / ocean wave sound at full load. I can't speak on how well these fans would do on an air cooler for the CPU. I would honestly see what RPM your current fans are hitting under a blender(software) work load and I would get fans that match that RPM. Or you can spend a day with data logging loads and temps like I did and set up a fan profile that fits your usage, annoyances, and PC tolerances (under 80c on Ryzen or under 90c for Intel) These are probably the best white rgb CASE fans for the money right now. I spent hours looking and I feel I hit a home run here for forty dollars. Cons maybe? The only screws that come with this are the short ones. If your mounting on a radiator you'll want to reuse your hardware. Again: the long screws that would utilizing the rubber vibration pads on top are not included. Only the short ones that would penetrate the lower fan bracket come with the fans. Be aware that these are translucent blades. They look fantastic while turned on (noticeable improvement) at the cost of looking cheaper while turned off. (which is never if im home) In the last picture you can see the Enermax white fans I'm having to replace due to a bad bearing after 1 month! They look higher quality but yet here I am.

Fan randomly started making noise
These fans have giving me no problem besides the fact me being completely lost trying to hook them up when I first got them... lol aside from that I would give these 5 stars, only thing from me putting 5 stars would be me just wishing there were a few more presets although it doesn’t matter because I connected to my asus aura app and now it looks very nice with way more options. Main complaint and reason I’m writing this post is because a few days ago I turned on my pc and one fan in the rear randomly started making this noise as you see in the video. I rarely open the glass panel, so I have never actually touched these fans, altered with them in any way so I don’t know why or what made this happen. I decided to wait a few more days to see if it happened again and it did 2 more times on only start up. I basically fix it by stopping the fan manually then once the colors all connect to asus aura I let it start spinning again and it works fine. Would hate if these broke to replace cause it was very annoying for my first time putting these on but just wanted to share.

Solid fans
I’ve had these fans for the past few years. Haven’t broke on me and has great lighting. Can easily be comparable to the corsair ones

Don't recommend putting them on top as exhaust fans
BLUF: As vertically mounted fans, these are great fans. I would be cautious of horizontally mounting them as exhaust through the top of the case. I have 1 Montech as a vertically mounted exhaust fan at the back of my case. Zero problems with that fan. The two I have horizontally mounted as exhaust fans at the top of my case start to rattle after a few minutes of use. The fan housing is secure, but its the actual fan that starts moving up and down, creating lots of extra noise.

Fans started clicking.....
Fans are great, colorful and a good value! EDIT- just outside the amazon return window, one of the fans started making a rattling noise. I troubleshot like crazy, it is an internal fan issue. I spent 2 weeks going back and forth with montech running videos and tests, and with visual proof of the problem they wouldn’t replace the fan. I guess you get what you pay for. Going down to 1 star.... Edit- I spoke too soon. They sent me replacement fans with an apology, sorry guys and thank you

They rattle at low RPM's
I thought I would buy these as they where compatible with my Montech Air X ARGB case and I was even willing to forgo the fact that they where white, but upon installation I quickly learned they are inferior to even the Case fan that came with my Montech case, so I quickly took them back out! Two of the three fans rattled so bad at low RPM that it became annoying from the start, I ended up keeping the controller and using it as I luckily discovered it was compatible with some Asiahorse 3 pin ARGB 5V 4 pin PWN fans I already had in a build I was taring down. If you are looking to complete a Montech case with these white Montech fans, I'd look at elsewhere at other brands because these are very poor quality!

The seller won’t email back about defective product
Got these in and they look great! However the light module was defective. Only 2 of the 6 outlets activated the RGB lights.. The seller refuses to email back on this issue.. I guess I’m on my own....
