Waterdrop Portable Water Filter Straw, Camping Water Filter

Bought these for the bag. Hoping it will be ok. I'm going off of a friend that has one and he likes his. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. But, looks like the quality is there.

Great Just in Case

I wish I had pictures for when I went camping in MN. These are the BEST filters to have. Buy the gravity bag too. You wont regret it. The water in Minnesota is almost black from the tannins (rotting leaves). Filtering the water is harsh on filters but having a steady supply of water on hand is nice when cooking and cleaning. Having these filters on hand means you can constantly have a clean source of water. The filter compound filters all particles and micro bacteria except for viruses. Not unless your in an area with a commonly known contaminated water source I would not use these. The flow of water can be a little slow but 1Cup of water is approximately given within 1 minute. Tip: When using the filter with the gravity fed bag. The lowest point of flow is the strongest but keep in mind DO NOT leave the filter dangling below the bag when not using or the water will continually flow and drain even with the cap on. When not using place the filter above the bag and hook in between the bag straps.

I didn't try it yet, I'm saving it for my emergency must have. I looks great and durable.

Been using them since they came on the market for camping. Great and works. I extended them with tubing so not to get down so far with my senior age now a days.

Every now and then life surprises me and this was one of those moments. These things work and are an amazing price for the quality and utility. Pack of three - you only get one ‘bag’ which helps clean and full so beware of that. Little annoying as I bought pack of three for my two sons and I and all ended up sharing a bag. Be handy if we could have paid a little more for an extra couple bags. Anyway, still earning 5 stars. Great product and value.

Produkt: Waterdrop Outdoor Wasserfilter Strohhalm (3er Pack, Blau) Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesen Filter Strohhalmen! Wir haben das 3er-Pack für unsere Outdoor-Trips genutzt (hauptsächlich zum Filtern von Süßwasser für die tägliche Dusche unterwegs) und die Filter haben einen fantastischen Job gemacht. Ob alle Mikrobiome perfekt herausgefiltert wurden, kann ich natürlich ohne Labor nicht testen, aber Fakt ist: Uns ging es nach dem Duschen immer blendend und das Wasser sah augenscheinlich super sauber aus. Härtetest bestanden: In einer absoluten Ausnahmesituation mussten wir die Filter sogar kurzzeitig im Salzwasser einsetzen. Obwohl man das ausdrücklich nicht machen sollte (da das Salz den Filter natürlich schnell zusetzen würde), hat der Waterdrop-Filter erstaunlicherweise ganze 14 Tage durchgehalten! Der üble Geruch des Wassers war nach dem Filtern deutlich reduziert und es war optisch rein. Das zeigt einfach, wie viel Leistungsreserve in diesen kleinen 0,1-Mikron-Filtern steckt. Für den normalen Süßwasser-Einsatz beim Camping oder Wandern sind sie unschlagbar. Fazit: Kompakt, extrem widerstandsfähig und in der Praxis absolut bewährt. 5 von 5 Sternen, würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!
