Pet MD Wrap A Pill Cheese & Bacon Flavor Pill Paste for Dogs - 4.2 oz

I can not say enough good things about this. My blue heeler started having seizures 8 months ago and has been put on medication twice a day. I will definitely say the cheese and bacon flavor is the way to go. We tried all of them and they are all different consistencies. The peanut butter one is super greasy and the bacon one is really dry and crumbly. As you can see, Nova loves the taste and when she finishes eating she’s waiting and ready for her pill making sure I don’t forget lol. It doesn’t smell bad. It doesn’t dry out in the container. Every Sunday I go ahead and prewrap all of her pills for the week and put them in a pill organizer so it’s quick. They hold up just fine. Don’t dry out or peel away at all. The paste is super easy to work with and a little goes a VERY long way. She gets one decent size tab in the AM and one and a half in the PM. The small container size lasted I believe over a month. (The container pictured is the bigger container. We ordered a small of each flavor then ordered a large of the cheese and bacon after trying them all and liking this one the best.) I definitely recommend this stuff. This what we’ll be using from here on out with her medication!

I can promise yall, if this doesn’t work on your dog, your dog might be the smartest dog living. This product is SUPER HELPFUL, SUPER EASY, and I’m thankful I ran across it. I tried a pill pocket product and it was a disaster. This one works wonders. My dog loves it and not once does he detect that a pill is submerged in this paste. It literally makes giving your dog a pill two seconds long! Thats it. Shoutout to whoever developed this, you deserve a Nobel peace prize

I have a Australian cattle dog and she is very adept at figuring out when I'm trying to slip her some meds, I've tried just about everything then a friend told me about this product. It's amazing! She takes medicine for bronchitis and for some liver issues(she's 12) the liver pills are a pretty good size tablet . I would crush them and put them in her food but most of the time she wouldn't eat it . Now, I cut them in half and wrap them with wrap a pill and she eats them like I eat skittles! I could wrap a golf ball with this stuff and she'd eat it !! So if your having trouble getting your pet to take their meds I highly recommend. Also she has pancreatitus and she tolerates it well. Ive not noticed any side effects and I believe she really loves the flavor.

My dog has a chicken allergy and it's so difficult to find good products for her. She's on daily medication. This pill wrap has worked out great. She likes the taste and it's strong enough to mask the nasty pill flavor. Easy to use. Allows you to choose how much you need to cover the pill, so there's less waste.

I bought this paste for my dogs because they are very picky about the treats that hold their medication. We have tried other paste options and pill pockets before, but nothing seemed to work consistently. This paste took the guessing game out of finding treats my dogs will actually eat when taking their medicine. Now it is much easier for them to take their meds and I do not have to worry about finding treats that work. The paste is strong enough to hold larger medications easily. Even though it holds its shape well, it is still soft enough for my dogs to chew. I also have an older dog who has lost some teeth, and this paste is easy for him to eat. The paste is easy to roll around the pills and it does not take much to fully cover even larger tablets. My dogs do have sensitive stomachs, but the ingredients in this paste have worked well for them so far and have not caused any issues. I only have two minor complaints. First, the paste can leave your fingers a bit oily and smelling strongly of bacon. Second, I really wish the product came with a small spoon or scoop. I currently use my fingers to dig out the paste, which is not my favorite. Overall, this has been a great value for the price and has made giving medication to my dogs much easier. I would highly recommend it for anyone struggling with pets that refuse to take their pills.

I have been giving my lab pills for years unfortunately. We have tried different pill pockets and I got to the point I would pinch off what I needed from the pill pocket so I wasn't using the whole thing every time. Given. She gets three doses of meds everyday, I thought I would give this a shot. This flavor is the first one I tried by Pet MD and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I like that I have control over how much I use to cover the pills. I decided after having good luck with this flavor that I would try the peanut butter. The peanut butter didn't work nearly as well as the bacon and cheese. This one is just the right consistency to cover the pills and I don't need a whole lot to cover them. I know that she likes the flavor, but after all, labs typically eat anything that you give them or that they find! I'm so glad that I gave this a shot. I use a toothpick to bring up just a small amount of the product to cover the pill so I don't get any stuck under my fingernails. The only thing that might be nice is if they had one or two more flavors.

My 70 pound dog had a severe kidney infection that nearly took her life. After $6000 spent at the ER, we were desperate to get her on the path to recovery. After she was discharged, she would not eat and trying to give her the remaining medication was so difficult. She would thrash and clench her jaw we could hardly get the medication in. Looking for solutions I came across this product. I ordered it and quickly realized I could mold this paste around multiple pills to cut down on the amount of times my dog had to take her pills. I was concerned it wouldn’t cover the pills well enough because each one was huge but the paste did the trick. We were so afraid we wouldn’t be able to get our dog her medicine and have to take her back to the emergency room for further care. Due to the effectiveness of this paste I have been able to administer her medication with relative ease. I she doesn’t take it willingly, but the amount of thrashing has subsided and she knows I just have to place it far inter the back of her mouth for a second or two and she swallows it. I will be using this paste from now on and so grateful. The smell is very enticing, my cats come running whenever I open the jar but the most important thing is it truly works and our dog is doing better and we can rest easy without fear.

My 16 yr old toothless 6lb yorkie has become impossible to force feed his dementia medication too. Pill pockets are so big! This is absolutely perfect to get it down and he loves it. It gets a little sticky in his hair and takes him a bit because he can’t control his tongue lol but we get there!
