High-quality sliding door system
The Milcasa Magic 2 is a high-quality sliding door system that feels very solid and smooth. Installation was straightforward thanks to the included template, and the door glides quietly with no bumps or noise. The hardware looks sleek and completely hidden once installed, giving a clean modern look. After using it for over 3 month I can attest that it works perfectly with a wooden door slab, and all parts feel durable and well made. Overall, itโs a great productโwell worth it for anyone wanting a professional, floating door setup.

Great product
I recently purchased the Milcasa Magic 2 barn door kit and I am beyond impressed with its quality and functionality. The sliding barn door hardware is completely concealed, giving my space a sleek and modern look. Installation was a easy thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions on their website and included in hardware. I did have some issue in the middle of instalation but their customer support helped me significantly. Customer support was also very helpful reccomending me which door handles and accessories would work with this system. The modern sliding doors add an elegant touch to my space and it opperates very well. Overall, I highly recommend the Milcasa Magic 2 barn door kit to anyone looking for a high-quality, unique solution for their interior sliding doors. The concealed track is smooth and quiet, and the soft closers prevent the door from slamming in either direction. It's the perfect way to add some style and functionality to your space.

Great product hard to install.
This is a really nice piece of tech and more or less well manufactured (the bottom track guide, wheels, and wheel housing are all plastic/rubber. The only real problem with the door is that it's no small effort to install. Things I discovered that might save others some time or trouble. 1. Attaching the roller mechanism to the wall last allowed me to adjust to any unexpected variation in the door height. I set the middle screw to -2 position when I attached it to the wall, this gave me 4mm of play to raise it, if I needed it. 2. Make sure the wall isn't bowed or concave. Check the full height of the door/wall for straightness. 3. The top track is the magic, assemble it first. 4. The top track mechanisms stop the door at both ends. 5. The pin mounted into the floor is weak chromed plastic. It just prevents the door from moving away from or toward the wall when the door opened and closed. Some other things: The roller mechanism (door bottom) is nothing special. Attaching a different wheels wouldn't affect the function of the door (but you do need wheels). I made my own solid core door for this. I should have made it hollow, working with a 45x85x1.5 inch chunk of wood is difficult.

Barn Door Hardware Milcasa Magic 2
Amazing final result! When we were first remodeling our space I wanted to use a traditional barn door but I didn't like how bulky a lot of the the upper tracks were. This concealed barn door hardware was recommended to us by our designer who used it in a prior project. I've never heard of it before and the concept is so cool! I love the fact when you open to the door you don't see any door track on the wall. It gives a very polished look. Other reviews are right you have to mill the track into the door for it to have that concealed look. We reached out via Milcasa's website and they provided us with a CAD file for the upper and lower track, which helped a lot! Super happy with the result and we are getting so many compliments on our sliding barn door!

Take time and skills to I stall
While we do like the concealed sliding door, we need to take a star off (4 to 3) because the instructions are just not great. It is all pictures with no written instructions. It is someone you want to get one of their certified contractor to put up. The instruction video is too fast hard to follow even when we pause and slow it down. I am pretty handy and could not figure things out find it really hard to follow. The good thing is when I called them the lady gave us some guidance and we were able to finally install it.

Perfect quality and fair price!
" This is an absolutely beautiful bi fold barn door slide. We got these interior sliding doors for our pantry to save space so the dining room isn't crowded. This set is incredibly well made and looks great. With sliding doors being so popular, we will be getting exterior barn door hardware and a sliding door cabinet as well. Installation was simple and quick. Works perfectly."

Most expensive junk I ever bought on Amazon, is that magic?
I really wanted to like this product but it's junk. Maybe OK for a very large door opening with a flat veneer door with pine frame and honeycomb core but nothing more. This product WILL NOT ALLOW you to close the door fully and you will absolutely need to hire a PRO woodworker or have the chops yourself to mill the door to make it work. Make absolutely sure you understand that before you buy and regret like me. For the price and time it takes to install, the end product is unsatisfactory. Watch the youtube videos - no one shows the door in the closed position, there is a big reason for why that is. This is not a consumer product at all, expert install + architect level. BEWARE: 1). Your door will not close all the way. It will always be 4 3/4" (minimum) sticking out of the door frame. The only way around this is to either extend the track out of the door (defeats the entire idea of product), or buy a door that is the 2x the size of the "magic" hinge on one side (approx 6"). Unless you have a rather big doorway it's very odd to have a door that is bigger on one side. And that door will have to be flat wood or a flat color (no details like panels, windows, etc.) or it's going to look very weird. 2). It will require at least a day of a pro woodworker to mill the door to specification. My friend is a pro, and had to cut custom router templates from masonite to route the top and bottom of the door. It was not an easy job. Three other commercial door makers turned me down for the job because the tolerances are very fine and they don't want to risk ruining a customer's door and spend a entire day reading instructions. 3). Be very careful if you have a door with any kind of symmetry like a window or panels. If the track is not cut all the way to the end you risk the door not shutting entirely or closing to the specs in the instructions (4 3/4") open when fully closed. 4). Be very careful with the wheels. Unless the wheels are exactly on the edge, it is likely you may not have space for the track guide which is probably one of the more important pieces of the construction, given the hinge is about 6" wide. 5). Build quality is sub par for a 500 dollar system. In the box you get: 36" aluminum track, two rubber wheels (not even with bearings), plastic / vinyl guide track, the hinge, two junky plastic end caps, the dampening springs. It's basically glorified screen door hardware. 6). Counter sunk holes on the track are very poorly cut (looks like a rat or very crude bit chewed out the metal). The workers in the shop were laughing at the countersink quality. 7). The hinge is so small that it does not work on a normal door within the weight restrictions. Do not trust the weight limits they give, and the hinge does not accomodate any kind of big bolt because a larger bolt head will not fit through the hinge, so you are stuck using thin bolts. 8). Instructions are deprecated (looks like they are from a previous model with notes to their installers), lacks any detail other than the mechanical specs for milling. 9). The door operation is not silent, nor smooth. There is a very loud click sound when the dampening springs engage with the hinge peg and the operation is not smooth. To be honest the dampening springs do nothing. You can choose to not install them and put a custom stopper in the top track, it works better than with the dampeners. Milcasa, you have created a very niche product at sub par standards. The only magic here is that a consumer can buy this junk and open a hole in their wallet, this product should only be sold with a door that works with it or to pro architects. Maybe ok at $100 price point, but $500 is outrageous, fully regret the purchase.

Not for carpeted flooring
The product might be alright for hard floors. We tried to use it over carpet and milcassa sold me a 'bottom track's to facilitate that. It has stumped everyone on the job site as to how to install it professionally for quality and long term performance. When I asked Milcassa about it they responded with "we just sell the stuff, we don't know how it works". I would highly suggest you purchase regular barn door hardware and save yourself the hassle. They will not respond to my request for a refund now and I can't use what they sold me so I'm out $800+. This company has no integrity
