Is it worth the money? A YouTuber that reviews blades reviewed this machete and by the end it had a  big crack .

Well, here's the thing...

You have another case of trying to make one tool do it all. There are always trade offs. It is a long and thin knife the shape of a machete. Machetes are typically made of thin, underhardened or lower carbon alloys that are very flexible and ductile, but not hold a keen edge and are more likely to roll than chip or break. Knives, with the exception of fillet or many kitchen knives, are made of thicker, harder alloys designed to keep their shape better and hold an edge longer. They tend to be higher in either carbon content or hardness,  or both. This tool is a long thin knife more than a machete, as it has a higher carbon content and holds an edge significantly better than most of my machetes. It's not much thicker, but it is, and the weight and feel in hand shows. It is also far stiffer than most of my machetes. It is also quite comfortable in hand, but I'm not sure yet about durability of the handle - only time will tell. Since it holds a better edge, it serves my purposes more fully, in spite of being more brittle, for accompanying my pruning shears for clearing Himalayan blackberry bushes, a pest here in the Pacific Northwest. I use a Cold Steel machete or Tramontina in the tropics. I use my axes and hatches, or larger Ontario sp's or my Becker bk9 on stiffer, thicker, woodier materials. A thin, higher carbon hard tool steel tempered like this, especially when it has lots of contaminants as "dirty" Chinese usually does, will be far more prone to breakage with lateral forces. I have found mine to not chip as much as roll, so they've done a fairly good job on these. Overall, knowing what I was getting into,  I'm fairly satisfied with these tools (10 and 18 inch).

Does it come very sharp or does it need to be sharpened?

It come sharp. Keep in mind this type of machete is for heavy duty chopping and should not have an edge so sharp that you can shave with it, It would only dull quickly if it did.

Question 4

Does the loose-fitting sheath cause dulling of the edge since it rattles?

I can't imagine a plastic sheath hurting a hardened steel edge.
If it does then the blade is not heat treated properly.
If the blade can withstand hitting hardwood without rolling the edge then it shouldn't get hurt by some plastic.
