So happy with this electric kettle! We primarily use it to make iced tea. We bought it to replace a product exclusively meant for making iced tea that consistently failed after one year’s use. This takes far less space on our counter top, is attractive, easy to clean, and permits use of loose tea or tea bags with the included infuser. It heats quickly, signals when it has completed heating and can hold the temperature for 30 minutes with the keep warm button. It also features auto shut off and a feature that prevents boiling the kettle dry. Could not be more pleased!

Great electric kettle! Has held up well. Feels and looks premium. I use it to make lots of tea or just to warm water when making one or two cups. Heats up quickly and has different temperature settings for the different types of tea. Highly recommend.

Kettle works great! Boils water fast, variable temperature settings are a must have feature. Depending on your water quality, some hard water deposits do build up on occasion but one wash with vinegar and warm water cleans it out perfectly. All you have to do is add a cup of white vinegar and let it sit for 5 min or add a mix of one cup vinegar and one cup water and boil on lowest temp and the kettle looks new, wash with dish soap and water. If you want to neutralize the vinegar odor add baking soda to the vinegar as you're washing out the vinegar. The kettle does have one design flaw: bottom of kettle where the glass meets the base has a plastic or glue that starts to visibly deteriorate after 6 months. Communication with the company on the warranty first got a response that this product is out of warranty because the warranty is only a 6-month warranty. After messaging them through Amazon that it hasn't even been a year they agreed to replace it with a new one and they did. Responsive customer service. Warranty info is confusing, the company website under FAQ says "Every product comes with a warranty of 1 year. If you register your purchase, you will automatically extend your warranty for one additional year!" Yet, the packaging includes a flyer that would indicate a 6-month warranty because it says "Scan the QR to "Extend your warranty from 6-months to 1 year".

We make pour over coffee in a Chemex and love that the kettle keeps the water hot until the process is finished with the keep warm function. The pour over coffee takes a while to make and we no longer have to keep reboiling the water in between pours in like we did before with our previous hot water kettle. We also love the keep warm function for tea. The tea infuser makes delicious tea and it is nice to be able to make a whole pot at one time and keep it hot afterwards. We simply boil the water, put the kettle on warm then put the infuser in (with bulk tea inside it; we haven’t tried individual tea bags yet). We take the infuser out after steeping the tea and with the keep warm function on the tea stays hot. No more microwaving after pours needed! We use less tea this way than making individual cups one at a time. The auto shut off works. The glass pot is easy to clean and we like seeing the water boil and also how dark the tea is when we are steeping. Be sure to give the cap insert in the lid a little twist so it stays on. The lid bottom and cap insert is the only plastic component on the kettle part and it doesn’t touch the water. The kettle is lightweight. Thanks to the reviewer who described how to activate the keep warm function. My husband fiddled with the controls and wanted me to return the kettle at first because he didn’t think the keep warm worked but there was just a missing step in the instructions. Very simple to activate. Just press the keep warm button on the far left then then press the start button on the far right. It will automatically choose the heat setting just to the left of the boil hottest function if you used that setting. You can’t use the boil hottest setting on keep warm. If you want a lower keep warm heat setting you can select that after you press the keep warm button and before pressing the start button. The kettle will also periodically heat the liquid a little on keep warm but not to boiling. Our initial problem was not pressing the start button after selecting the keep warm selection. So simple almost embarrassing we didn’t figure it out on our own!

I purchased the tea kettle in August 2025. I love it but in April 2026 it stopped working. I contacted Viante customer service. They replaced it immediately.

This is such a well designed unit if it functioned as advertised. Why have a keep warm function if it doesn't work? Cheap electronic parts, or maybe really bad quality control? But for the price I will never buy anything with the name Viante on it again. $70 for a unit that heats a couple of cups of water that must be immediately used or reheated, especially since the keep warm function was important to me when choosing to purchase this unit. As a controls electrician, I do know a little about pushing buttons and such, and just too many people have had these problems over a long period of time tells me that this is an unreliable company that fails to correct known problems. Maybe they should put their engineers is charge of the accountants! I already have a microwave that actually works if I just want quickly heat water without a r3eheat function. I just gave the damned thing to someone I somewhat dislike, let them have a good time with this landfill item!

Very good product. I've bought a few different tea kettles and this is the best I've had. East to load and clean. And has an automatic warm setting which switches to "warm" mode after the tea is brewed. just set it and forget it

If allowed to sit the tea can get to strong if you don't remove the bag

Soy alérgica y este aparato fue el único que agregué a mi rutina. Me sentí muy mal. El acero que contiene no es del todo confiable para personas con alergias severas.
