Beautiful. Lovely light shade perfect size.

This is a beautiful lightshade. Great quality. Very pleased with it.

I wanted a gold statement piece for my livingroom lampshade. But I also didn't want to break the bank as I'd like to eventually upgrade to a chandelier. We have a 20s theme, with dark blue, white and Gold accents and this seemed perfect for the job. I would say once we put it up, it didn't seem as GOLD gold as I hoped and could probably be mistaken for silver in some lightings. But we also have a colour changing bulb in that room so I've set it up to a nice warm light that brings out the gold tones in the lampshade. It looks the part, and so long as the bulb isn't super bright you don't get the leafy shadows on the wall, too which I wasn't sure I would like or not. It's super easy to put up, and I didn't need any tools etc Looks the part, and really ties the room together!

This looks really pretty up, and is really easy to fit, just like a standard lamp shade. No wiring involved so that was good. It can be a little fiddly to clean, with all the little leaf parts, but looks lovely when all cleaned and shiny. Better for small places with the size of the item, it might look a little lost in large rooms.

The metal construction means that although this lampshade is quirky it will be easy to clean and durable. Hopefully it will last a lifetime. Looks really beautiful on a standard lamp base. The photo was taken in daylight so I'll see what shadows it casts tonight! The tricky part was removing the adapter ring. Tip- use something metal like a dinner knife to squeeze the ring closed and push and it will pop out. You have to be very firm! This was the only bulb I had which was the right type, but I think it looks ok. I am hoping to be able to read in the armchair at night, but we'll see. That's got nothing to do with the shade though. Was in two minds about getting this but think I made a good decision. Only points off are because the adaptor was difficult to remove and it is a bit expensive, but on the other hand it's made out of thick metal and I expect the adaptors are just a standard product!
