The platters arrived in good shape and are as described. I will enjoy using them, but I have a problem with the LONG wait for them to be delivered. I ordered the plates on Sept. 4, and they did not arrive until Sept. 16. Maybe, try shipping your items a different way beside mule train.

I bought these for watercolor mixing. The size is more than adequate and the whiteness matches my porcelain palette. The con is that the surface isn’t completely flat. There are two ridges on the bottom side that cause echoing indentation on the surface. Also, due to the size, it isn’t travel friendly as a mixing tray. Another FYI is that this plate has a deep lip. If you prefer your mixing plate to have no lip or shallow lip, you may not like this item. For its intended use, these plates look like the ones used in cafes and restaurants to display desserts or sandwiches.

They're extremely versatile, too. I have seen photos of how other customers use them for organizers for toiletries, jewelry, and more. The plates I ordered arrived safe and sound, carefully packed with styrofoam between each of the four. But just in case there could have been damage during shipping, Sweese guarantees free replacement without having to make a return. Plus, they came with the offer of a free gift! Highly recommend!

These plates are super stylish. They hold a good amount of food and are perfect for going from the oven to table. Love the look and quality. Not too heavy, just right.
