These work great and make it easy to dry my vehicle after a wash. The Chemical Guys Woolly Mammoth drying towel is hands‑down one of the best drying towels I’ve used. The size alone — 36 x 25 inches — makes it perfect for drying large panels quickly, and the ultra‑plush microfiber is incredibly soft on the paint. No streaks, no scratches, and no need to wring it out constantly. This towel absorbs a surprising amount of water. I can dry an entire vehicle — whether it’s a car, truck, or even an RV — with just this one towel. It glides smoothly across the surface and leaves everything spotless.

First off, yes there was some lint after removing the Woolly Mammoth from the bag. After a few shakes to get it off I dried my car without any lint left on the car. If you're worried, after the first wash I definitely didn't have any lint when using. I have used the Woolly Mammoth numerous times on either my sedan and SUV. It is able to handle absorbing the water from either car completely after the wash. At 36" x 25" it's definitely big enough to handle any job. Because it's so big I have to make sure to hold the towel when wiping the side of the car to prevent it dragging on the ground. Care and cleaning. So I have gone by the recommendations of using a laundry detergent specifically for microfiber towels (P&S Rags to Riches Premium Microfiber Detergent ASIN: B08NWJ68NX), in cold or tap water temp. Drying temp I use the ultra low. Doing this all my microfiber towels have remain soft and grippy to my dry hands. All in all this is a great microfiber towel to dry the car.

This Woolly Mammoth towel is an absolute beast in the best way possible. I use it mainly for drying my car after a wash, and I’m consistently impressed by the streak resistance. It leaves a clean, spotless finish every time with no smears or water marks. The quality is exactly what I expect from Chemical Guys—well made, durable, and consistent from towel to towel. The color is a nice touch too. The gray hides dirt and stains well between washes, so it stays looking clean longer. Best of all, there’s been no shedding whatsoever. No stray fibers left behind, even when brand new. And as for washability, it holds up beautifully after multiple washes. No fraying edges, no loss of softness, and it still performs just as well as when I first got it.

I know that there are probably better drying towels out there but I am very pleased with the woolly mammoth so far. My only grievance would be that there is some lint left behind, and yet I do take proper care of the towel and use them correctly. But the amount of lint that I get is more than acceptable for just washing my car in the driveway. Having said that, they do make quick work of drying my car and I have had no scratches or swirls so I would buy them again if I need to.

I got a new car and wanted to keep it clean by washing it myself, so I needed a good drying towel. This is a fairly thick towel that absorbs a ton of water. I've only used it once but was impressed with how much water it absorbs and how well it keeps my windows from getting water spots. Improvements: • None really; but one note; you probably don't need one this size unless you're doing more than 1 car. I'd probably go with a smaller size for one car in the future. Final take: Excellent quality towel for drying and keeping my car clean. I can't speak to its durability quite yet since I've only used it once but based on the material I have a feeling it'll last a while.

I pulled up to the car wash and another guy with a truck pulled up next to me and began same time. He got to the drying section before I did so I park my sedan. I took out the towel from the original bag first time use, and began. I saw the guy frequently squeeze the microfiber towels since they would get full of water. I just keep swiping the towel and cleaned very well. Once I finished with my sedan I took it home and pick up my 2 door car: I took it to the car wash. The guy with the truck was still there! I washed my two door and took it to the drying section. Again the guy was squeezing the towels to take out the water. I was a bit hesitant of the towel since it already cleaned a 4 door sedan but I went on. It actually did a decent job on the 2 door a little bit more elbow grease to pick up the water. When I drove off the guy with the truck stared at me amazed. One towel for a sedan and a 2 door and can possibly do another 2 door car is amazing for the price. Never had to squeeze the towel just drop it in the bucket and get home and let it air dry. (Also did tire dressing for both cars) Amazing product. Looks like a professional detail.

This oversized, ultra soft towel soaks up a ton of water. Just drag it over a large section of your car and it picks up every drop of water. Machine washable.

The drying is prefect I dried three cars at one time and still some room to one more car I believe, however it is really hard and difficult to twist the towel dry it But all in all highly recommended
