My carpets get so dirty with kids and a dog running around. I decided to give this cleaner a try and I am in LOVE! The amount of dirt it pulled out was horrifying. My carpets felt so soft and clean after. It's very easy to use, light enough to carry up and down the stairs and performs like an absolute beast. You do need to place a towel underneath it while you clean it out to avoid water leaking. Great full size steam cleaner!

I have had this machine for over a year and a half. It still works like it was brand new. I have an older dog and 2 younger pups, all of whom are neutered males. My carpet is where they fight their territory wars with urine as the main ammunition. This machine removes every trace of the stain and the odor. The Bissell Pet Pro shampoo cleans exceptionally well and doesn’t leave any lingering residue. My carpet ends up in better condition than when I have it professionally cleaned, and for a fraction of the price. The smell of the shampoo is light and clean and the room smells very fresh. After I use this very effective machine it is impossible to tell that the carpet was ever soiled. The machine is easy to assemble, and it is very easy to use. The clean reservoir is well made and fits perfectly on the machine. The dirty water reservoir is bigger, but the handles make it easy to remove, empty, and replace. The whole machine is put together well and I can clean every part of it before I put it away. I have used many different kinds of machines- both more expensive and less expensive but this is the only one I would recommend.

As far as cleaning my carpets it works pretty well. However, it continually loses suction after 4-7 minutes of use. Every time this happens I have to take it all apart, rinse everything out, put it back together. I have to repeat this process about 12 times per room. I have the Bissell pet vacuum that I use before hand, vacuuming each space twice very thoroughly. Also while using the cleaner I have to stop every so often to clean the pet hair off the bottom. I don't know if I should be more disappointed in the pet hair Vacuum or the pet hair Carpet Cleaner. It seems neither of them do a better job than any NON pet hair vacuum.

Cleans wonderfully, very small tank. To do even an area rug, you have to stop 80 times to empty and refill the dirty and clean water tanks. It cleans well it cleans up well it just takes so long to do anything because you have to stop every four minutes to deal with the tanks.
