yes. I never mix it with water. I just add it to recipes for a more buttery tasteful product.

What is the difference between butter buds and butter buds sprinkles?

This is not an official answer, but from my experience the sprinkles are a little more granulated so that they will come out of the shaker without sticking together. The regular butter buds are more like confectioners sugar because they’re meant to be made in batches.
