The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this desk. I bought it four years ago and when we bought a house in 2024, my husband broke it in our move. I was so sad. I tried to just replace it with a cheap desk from the thrift store, but after a year of that crap, I caved and decided to get this one again. It does seem like I’m missing little side bars on the shelves but I’m still in love with it. This desk is perfect for me!

We don't use this table much. It mainly serves as a stand for assembled LEGO sets and other toys. It's quite good for that purpose. Probably, if you don't put a lot of weight on it, it would be quite good for its intended use.

This is a fantastic desk for $110. I live in a single room in my parents' house, so space is at a premium. For the last 15 years I haven't had a proper desk in there. This is a hundred times better. I have plenty of room to set up a laptop between a pair of small computer speakers. I also have space for a file holder under the shelves, as well as a desk lamp and a place to open up a textbook or notebook. A tall PC tower fits under the desk on the side opposite the shelves. The 55" version still gives me plenty of legroom to push a chair under the desk without worrying about running into anything.I don't "WFH", so I can't say how cluttered the desktop would be with two monitors and a keyboard (no keyboard tray on this desk, obviously), etc. I think it would be a bit tight. Not a problem for me, since that's what my actual office at work is for. As a general purpose home desk for using my laptop, doing financial paperwork, working on small repair projects or studying, it's perfect. I do wish the shelves on the end were deeper. 7" is too shallow for most books and folders. I put my APC surge protector/battery backup power supply on the lowest one, but I don't know what to do with the others.The build quality is great for the price. The particleboard pieces are finished nicely, with no chips, sharp edges or peeling veneer. Powder coating on the iron frame is pretty good, with a few rough spots here and there, but nothing too noticeable. It should go without saying, but throw away the Allen key and open-end wrench they give you and use your own. My Allen key came rounded off and useless and my wrench was too small for the acorn nuts. Not worth removing a star, since the throwaway tools that come with furniture are always terrible.Note that the instructions assume that the desk will be built with the shelves on the left. I chose to put them on the right, but this requires that everything shown in the instructions be mirrored. Nowhere is this stated, so getting the orientation of the pieces correct becomes a little tricky. Just be mindful of where the threaded and unthreaded holes are and you should be fine. The instructions also flip the view of the desk from the front to the back between steps, without indicating that it's changed. There is definitely room for improvement there.My only real complaint is that the whole thing wobbles too much for my liking. It doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart, but even with the corner brace installed and all the bolts tightened up it still shakes a bit when I'm typing. A minor issue, but worth commenting on. If someone stole it from my room tomorrow, I'd buy another one.

The setup is simple. Just remove a wooden panel to place the mid-tower desktop computer. Unfortunately, the desk still wobbles.

For the price, this is a very good desk. Is it as solid as something more expensive? No, of course not, but it's quite adequate to handle a computer, monitor, and all the assorted accessories that'd go along with that setup. I'm not sure I'd place something like a multifunction laser printer/copier/scanner on it, but, once you place your monitor, you really won't have room for one anyway.I ended up buying two of these for our kids' computers, so I'll run through the assembly process. The desks were packed well, and, although there was some minor damage to the corners of the boxes, everything inside was fine. The assembly instructions consist of only pictures and diagrams, but I didn't have any problems following them. In terms of difficulty, most of the assembly can be done by one person, although there are a few places where having a second person can be helpful. The hardware is well-organized, and, for most items, they give you an extra screw, bolt, or nut.The most important advice I can give you is to take your time and pay close attention to the orientation of the metal frame pieces as you put them together. You can easily assemble something the wrong way and not discover it until several steps later, meanibg you'll need to take things apart to correct your mistake. An allen wrench and a small wrench are included, and I'd recommend using those instead of power tools, since you could damage the parts if you aren't careful. Also, don't tighten screws down until you've got them all in for that step of the process. That'll allow you to be sure everything is put together properly and everything lines up. Just take it slow, and you'll be fine. They recommend that you watch their assembly video on Amazon, but I chose not to, so I don't know how helpful it'd be.All in all, this is a good little desk. I haven't had them long enough to comment on how they'll hold up over time, but I don't see anything now that's concerning.
