After rolling my car 3 times and fracturing 9 ribs, I was desperate for some relief and stability. This brace is comfortable, easy to use, my ribs felt supported, and my ta-tas weren’t smooshed like they were with the hospital binder. The Velcro is great quality and made it easy to adjust from sitting to standing and it stayed in place. I have told all (of my many) doctors and physical therapist about this brace.

I have 2 cracked ribs, 3 & 5 This brace secures them so I can function. I take off periodically just so I can inhale and exhale deeply because this brace does compress the lung function

I managed to bruise my rib, something I do not recommend for anyone due to the excruciating pain, but if you do, I highly recommend this brace, especially if you bruised an upper rib. I tried to wrap it up with all different sizes of elastic bandages, but I felt no real relief. Once I received this and put it on, I actually felt instant relief! It was actually comfortable and I was able to breathe without pain! For the women: I am not small breasted. I'm a 38D. I got the one with 3 straps and they are very adjustable so I was able to get a good fit without crushing myself. The lower strap provided support, kept the brace from slipping, and the added benefit of not having to wear a bra! LOL! My actual healing time was a lot shorter than I thought it would be as well. I hope you never need this for a bruised rib, but if you do, I highly recommend it!

I bought this after a car accident hoping it would help with the pain in my chest and ribs whenever I moved. Alas, it was not for me. It did seem to help a little bit but it was hot and uncomfortable. I'm on the heavy side with a belly but it might work better on a different body shape.

My husband calls this his bra due to a fractured rib. It has held it in place to allow compression to heaL and makes it hurt much less. The first time wearing took us both to get the shoulder strap in right place and length. Now he can put it on with 0 help. If too high it does dig into his arm pit but once adjusted correctly he says its ok to wear while working but he is happy to remove it at end of day.

This really works. I broke ribs in my upper chest and this is the only brace I could find that offers support to a break so high up. It provides immediate relief and the longer I wear it, the better I feel. Well made. So happy with this purchase

This rib belt product looks like a solid piece but is has a solid back and sides and three mesh like straps across the front that are stiff and very uncomfortable. If you are a female you would have to wear a bra and shirt to keeps breasts from sticking between the very uncomfortable straps. I can't think of any use for this apparatus.

This helped me get better quickly

Had open heart surgery needed a secure brace. Found it comfortable and easy to put on. Did feel very vunerable without one and this secured it. Great.
