It’s a very nice knife

After receiving this carving knife, I couldn't wait, so I BBQ'd a London Broil. It slices very easily right out of the box. Just as the offer described. I had a similar carving knife several years ago, but it somehow disappeared. This knife far surpasses that old knife. I'm happy with my selection. A quality knife at a reasonable cost.

This is slightly shorter than some slicers which makes it easy to handle for some cuts of meat. It wasn’t quite as sharp as I had hoped, but I was able to steel and strop the edge to be very sharp

Very sharp allows you to almost slice deli thin you get nice full cuts.

I bought this knife to cut brisket, and OMG it was great! It was supper sharp, the length was perfect and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

I don't need to tell you that nothing is more disappointing than smoking a brisket for 12 hours and then trying to slice it with a knife that's just not up to the task. This cow slicing monster will end your frustration for sure. It's one of the least expensive on Amazon so I didn't hold high hopes of it working as well as it does. Some purchases you're just pleasantly surprised. This is one of those purchases. I would not hesitate to recommend this brisket knife to anyone looking for one. I have had it long enough to know it's my "go-to" brisket slicer and I smoke lots of briskets. Holds up well to the dishwasher and some degree of other abuse I have put it though. I use it with gloved hands and it has never slipped on me, that's a plus. The handle is at the perfect angle for use so it doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable when using. The price is what drew me in, but the performance is what made me stay. I believe the world would be a better place if more people smoked brisket and drank beer while doing it. I love this knife. I was able to slice different cuts of meat with ease into small slender strips. It is so sharp, I cut my finger while cleaning it so please be careful. I would have paid a little more for a plastic sleeve to protect it. The cardboard sleeve will have a limited life.

Great knife I bought specifically for brisket and meat didn't break apart. I cooked mine for 14 hrs and knife sliced nicely. Folks, use long slightly firm stokes against grain not hard rapid. Don't forget about the turning point midway and you'll have great sliced brisket.

Product was exactly what I was looking for. It was delivered on time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a roast slicing knife.
