I’ve used this chain daily for over a year, including wearing a wire-wrapped gemstone pendant on it. It’s been through plenty of wear and travel, holding up well to regular use without irritation or tarnishing. The black plating still looks mostly intact, though it finally showed some wear after heavy use. Very nice chain for my 11 year old son. He wanted something that looked older but that he would feel comfortable wearing. He loves it. It is not a thin chain, you can't put a medal on it or anything else unless the hole is large enough for the chain to fit through. He didn't want anything on it but I am just pointing it out.

The black one feels fresh and modern, and it actually reminds me of a favorite necklace I had as a kid. The gold version looks fine but is a little too brassy for my taste. Both chains are comfortable to wear, don’t tangle in my hair, and are easy to add charms to. The clasp is sturdy, the links feel durable, and for stainless steel, they’re an excellent value. Just note that these are flat links, not round, despite the description. If you’re unsure about sizing, a quick measurement with a fabric tape will help you pick the perfect length. Overall, a stylish, well-made chain that’s worth adding to your collection.

Very well made

This is a beautiful sturdy and weighty black chain. It has a nice shine that doesn’t look Cheap at all. It’s actually kind of upscale looking and I could easily pair it with black earrings and a black bracelet and go out to a nice dinner. I’d purchase again for anyone. It’s advertised for guys but I wouldn’t limit it to just guys. :-)

I ourchased this for my son as a present and he loved it. It is tough and great quality and has good weight to it. It has not turn any color and has remained durable and shiny through 2 baseball seasons so far. The size is correct and ot feels great on him. No irritation or anything of that.

Necklace is very smooth and flows nicely, metal feels heavy not cheap. Very happy.
