Great for Older vehicles.
Installation was a no brainer, extremely easy...basically just plug it it. Blue tooth connects easily. This also has a USB port to charge as well. It's compact size is perfect. Sound quality while using the phone is very good. I have a older vehicle and it works perfectly.

Works perfect even if you do not have Bluetooth or a AUX in port on your car radio
This is a very nice piece of equipment. I bought it because, neither of my iPod or my vehicle have Bluetooth capability and the car radio does not have an AUX in port. I just plug my classic iPod into the in/out port on the side of this adaptor and tune my car radio into the same FM radio station as the one I set on the adaptor and I have perfect sound. No external electrical interference noises or static. I get just plain excellent sound from the recordings on my iPod, through my car radio. The jacks on both the adaptor and my iPod are 3.5mm. I tried another brand that was supposed to work, but it only had an output jack on the adaptor, so when I plugged the cable into the port, I got nothing. I'm very pleased with this adaptor. I thought I was going to have to buy a new radio for a couple hundred dollars, but this amazing little adaptor saved me from having to do that. It will work if you do have Bluetooth capability. I can't think of any kind of set up this adaptor would not work with. It's well built and feels nice and solid. I would add a video of it working, but I figured I wouldn't be allowed to post it due to copywrite laws. I would love to have everyone listen to how great the sound is through the adaptor and my old time car radio. I am using this in a 2007 Chevy Uplander. I highly recommend this adaptor and this seller. A+++++++ for both!! I had a problem with the fist one I received, but the seller was quick to send out a replacement and now I can listen to my audio books while I drive. Don't be afraid to get one of these if you need to attach an external gadget to your old style car radio. If I need another one, I will be getting the same thing from the same seller. I'm a very happy camper!!

As listed! Works right out of the box.
Easy to install, it will show the channel to use, and it is spot on clear sound! This is a great product, especially if you have a recessed outlet that is a pain to reach, with this it plugs in and the main body for controls are no accessible as well as visible.

EASY AND GREAT
It works so easily and so well! Though if you move it accidentally while driving the radio frequency gets messed up, but it's not an issue at all. Just position it in a way where it doesn't get hit or move. It's worked wonders on my 2007 honda!

Instructions are clear and simple. Runs a little quieter than normal. Works well in the limited area, and being flexible keeps it out of the way of 6th gear and reverse. Had some static on a few channels, but as instructions state, find another channel not being used. Connect quickly when it's plugged in as well.

it’s perfect for those who have a old car stereo with no Bluetooth or aux capabilities
This is amazing, I honestly didn’t even know there was such a thing I was given a car for my dad, but it’s an old car from 2007 so it didn’t have anything but a CD player/radio, I’ve had that before and other cars, but they had the aux cord option so I never really ran into needing to look for something different. Originally, I was going to look for a new radio, but having to put money into the car to get it fixed to be able to pass inspection, I didn’t really have the money to throw into a radio as well, plus nowadays it’s kind of hard to find somewhere that sells car, radios, and installs them at least where I live. so I started googling to see if I could find anything that I could use to be able to connect my phone to my radio because I absolutely hate my local radio stations. I originally was looking for something like a CD that had Bluetooth on it, but I couldn’t find anything but came across this item and decided to give it a shot. it is super nice. It’s easy to connect. It took me literally just a few seconds to connect to my phone and the radio. You just tune the regular radio to the same station that you have it on with the device, and Bluetooth connects in a matter of seconds. I love that it automatically turns on as long as it’s plugged in and connect to your phone so that way, I don’t have to sit there and connect it and turn it on every time I get into the car, I also love that it has the option to skip a song on the device itself so that way I don’t have to pull out my phone. My steering wheel has a volume option button, but it doesn’t have a skip option so I can’t control it from my steering wheel when I want to change the song, I also like that there’s a pause option if you tap the middle button that you connect with a Bluetooth to pause your music rather than having to pull out your phone. Overall, I have no complaints about this device. I’ve never really had any issues with static as of yet or any other type of weird feedback. There is one time I heard a weird little noise, but it was so quick. I don’t even know if it was from that or my car or something outside and I’ve only heard it once so I can’t even say for sure but as of now there’s no complaints whatsoever and definitely was worth the money and I would definitely buy again if I ever run into having another car that doesn’t have Bluetooth or an aux capability

Great idea but...
If you recall back in the 90s there were lots of aftermarket CD player and CD changers designed by Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood and many more that used RF Modulators to transmit through and unused radio station on the FM band. This works the same way, however the RF signal being generated on this unit needs to be stronger. When driving around in the city or any higher populated area where the radio stations would transmit from, you can hear the station (or white noise related to the radio station) on the speakers as you're trying to listen to the content of whatever is connected to this Bluetooth RF device. This makes it not nearly as good as it could be. In some areas were there is less RF energy you only hear the content your play over this device but I would say about 75 percent of the time you can hear noise even if there is nothing playing on this device. One of the most frustrating things about this is that it's avoidable. I'm guessing that the RF power being transmitted from this device to the car radio is likely the max limit the FCC would allow BUT that's not the real problem. The real problem is that the device doesn't go quite lower enough in the FM radio band to get out of the normal range of frequencies that a typical radio station would be on in the first place. The unit only has a range on the FM "dial" between 88.1 Mhz to 107.9Mhz. But most of the older RF modulated devices from the 90s could go down a bit lower to 87.7Mhz where there are no FM radio stations. This makes a huge difference. Since there are usually no stations (or at least no high powered stations) down this low (87.7 to 89.9Mhz) there is little to no noise on the older RF modulated CD changers, etc. but on this you have no choice to be deal with the noise mixing with your played content. Lets than ideal and I'm sure the folks who made it isn't from the US so they may not know that the USA's FM radio band goes lower than what this unit is designed for. My radio in my car goes down to 87.7Mhz. This low on the radio band there is nothing there. If this unit could be programmed down this low the noise wouldn't be a factor.

Saved me from having to hack up my dashboard with an aftermarket Bluetooth radio.
I drive an early-2000's BMW 5 series. It has a factory radio that sounds awesome and a look that is perfectly integrated into the console. But I needed Bluetooth functionality to stream audio. In my other car I installed a $200 radio and while the BT functions worked great, the sound quality and build quality left a lot to be desired and the "look" of the radio was all wrong. I didn't want to do that to my beautiful interior and I wasn't going to spend $800+ on a high-end radio. This little Bluetooth dongle does a fantastic job connecting my new Samsung Galaxy phone to my old car stereo system. It's easy to use, works mostly automatically and is fully configurable to any station on the dial, an important factor for me (or anyone) that lives near an urban area with lots of radio stations. The display is easy to read (though you likely won't need to look at it after you tune it to an empty radio station. The built in charger port has plenty of power to drive my vent-mount Qi charger (which usually don't work with less than 1500mA chargers and better with 2100mA chargers like this one). I listen to MP3s and audiobooks from my phone and both come through rich and sound great on my factory stereo. Some tips: Plug the device ONLY into an ignition controlled power socket, you don't want one that is on when the car is off. Tune the radio until you find a station that is all static and that both of the stations above and below are both static. That really helps keep the signal clear. Then set a radio preset to that station and tune the device to that station too. Once you turn on Bluetooth and sync it with your phone (easier on Android than Apple it would seem) it remembers the connection. You shouldn't have to re-sync it unless your BT security settings are very high. Turn up the media volume on your phone to the very highest before turning up your radio volume. That makes the signal the clearest. The big dial works as a button too, press it once to start/stop (works only with my media player, not my audiobook or podcast players, though that's likely the apps fault). Just be aware that two quick presses of the button will call your last called number. That was embarrassing to me once or twice until I figured it out because the device considers it a double press even if that takes 5 or 6 seconds. Long press to hang up. I haven't tested to ultimate range, but it will still sync the BT from up to 10 feet away. I tested this because I'm buying one for my Mom to use in her RV. I also set up my phone to automatically launch the traffic monitoring and navigation app that starts with "W" so as soon as I start my car it jumps into navigation mode and adjusts the media volume to high and is ready to drive all without having to press any keys.

Quality built, sturdy, attractive and functional!!
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Fits into your car lighter socket, powers on immediately and is ready to pair. Adjust volume on your phone to max, then adjust volume on this device to max, then adjust your radio volume to the loudest you want your music. After that, just turn down this device's volume with the dial, until it is a comfortable listening volume. If you hear any buzz (1 kHz whine) adjust the FM frequency of the device 1 click at a time and your radio station the same, until you get a good, clear, strong signal. Controls are easy to understand and intuitive! Honestly had to adjust the BASS/TREBLE on my car radio, as this device produces a better sound than the AUX port built into my car. Very good sound. Also, the one click phone call answer is handy.
