They're sandals. If you're trying to buy sandals, these are sandals and you should buy them. As well constructed as any sandal could be constructed, in my opinion.

Fits a wide foot
I bought a 13 for my son who is big and heavy with a wide flat foot. He was surprised he likes these more than any others he's had of this type. He didn't need to go up a size.
