Tanologist Self Tanner Mousse, Dark Self Tan Mousse, 6.76 Fl Oz

This is FABULOUS tanner! It is not orangey colored, and has a very mild scent. The mousse version dried super fast, and I used the dark version and it was instantly tan. I could smooth out the areas to avoid streaks by seeing the color tone as I spread it around. I washed my hands thoroughly to remove the tanner from turning them too dark. I had the best tan I have had in a very long time, and I have used many sunless tan products over the years. This one looked like a genuine tan, and lasted almost a whole week and still looked good at the end of the week. I did use lotion to keep my skin from getting too dry and to extend the life of the tan. This is now my go-to tanner. The price is decent too. I tried the face drops and they made my face break out, but I put the mousse on my face and haven’t had any problems with it. Hope this product stays around because I am now addicted to it. It’s really nice having a nice tan everyday!! 😊

I absolutely hate the smell of self tanner. It makes me sick to my stomach. Thankfully, this product has other scent in it so it’s not so overwhelming. I can smell it a tiny bit, but it’s very faint, I’m debating not even rinsing it off this morning. Usually I’m in the shower the second my eyes open because I hate that specific smell! I’m very fair skinned, so most self tanners look orange, or just too extreme, if that makes sense. Like it’s obvious that I’m wearing self tanner. This product isn’t like that! I typically would buy a light or medium shade, but I got dark this time, and I love how it turned out. This truly looks like a natural tan on my skin. But if you’re expecting to wake up looking 5 shades darker, this probably isn’t for you. I’m curious if this will layer well, I might put another layer on and see! I thought I’d not love that it was clear, because how do you see where you put it? But application was fine as long as you pay attention to where you put it. It’s not streaky at all, very even. No splotches. And most importantly ITS NOT IN MY PORES! That’s a huge issue with my skin, it seems like every self tanner just pools in my pores. This one isn’t! Very smooth and even looking. I thought it was just as sticky as other tanners shortly after applying, but waking up in the morning I didn’t feel sticky. Overall, I love it. I might try the “extra” dark if it doesn’t layer well, but I think this is going to be a product that I keep on hand! It did arrive with the cap off, unsealed. Kinda gives me the ick but I don’t know I’m so happy with how this turned out, I’ll get over it.

This self-tanning mousse gives a very natural-looking tan and works especially well for people with olive undertones - I don't end up looking orange like I do with some other tanners. It's easy to apply, has only a mild scent, and develops into a nice, even color overall. My only complaints are that it can be a little streaky in some areas and, because it applies clear, it's difficult to see where you've already applied it. That makes it easy to miss spots if you're not careful. Overall, though, it's a great self-tanner and one I would recommend!

This self Tanner has a green base which is ideal for those with cool undertones (pink and red tones to skin) as it cancels out the orange. This is the 1 hour express and it’s very true to that factor in regard to color development. In my opinion there is no need to leave it on for more than 1 hour because you’ll end up orange no matter what. I have pale olive skin that tans very with Mediterranean features so this tanner is perfect for me. The only issue is that because it develops so well in only 1 hour it’s hard to blend it around the wrist and on the hands. For my hands add the tanner after the 30 minute mark so the tanner is only on my hands for 30 minutes. This is the best way to avoid a bad tan on the hands. Also make sure you moisturize the hands and wrist area really good before applying the tanner. Same with feet. Also the longevity of this tanner is really good, it last a decent time. EDIT; for some reason when buying this product on Amazon the tan doesn’t develop at all. My review on this product is from when I purchased it from the store (target) so I ordered it on Amazon and wrote the review before trying the new bottle. My recommendation would be buy this product at an actual store. I don’t know if it’s expired or if it’s been exposed to the heat but it doesn’t develop at all from Amazon

I really like this self-tanner! The mousse is easy to apply and spreads evenly, making it much easier to get a smooth, natural-looking tan. I also like that the dark shade gives a more noticeable color without having to use a huge amount of product. It’s easy to work into the skin with a tanning mitt, and the mousse makes it simple to see where you’ve applied it. The bottle is also a convenient size for keeping in my bathroom or taking along when traveling. Overall, a great self-tanner for anyone who wants a deeper, bronzed look without spending a lot of time at a salon.

I have done many self tanners and this one is by far the best glow. I got scared trying a transparent foam the first time I used it but it has honestly been the most even tan ever. I use this as my every week glow and it looks so natural. It also is not as stinky as the other self tanners or sticky. I sleep in it overnight and wake up glowing! I love it so much it was the tanner I trusted to apply 2 nights before my wedding and still glowed. Looked so good

This self tanner gave me a great and natural looking tan. I really liked the way that it went on as a foam which made it easy to spread evenly. However, it made my legs itch like crazy. Were it not for that, I would have given it a top rating.

Pros: the color is a great summer glow! The smell is actually pretty good which is unusual for self tanners Cons: there’s no guide color so you have to make sure you pay attention when putting the product on, especially on your back. It does transfer so be careful on white or if you have blond hair, make sure it’s fully pulled back after it’s applied and after you wash it off. Even after washing with soap, and using a wipe, there is still product coming off, so protect your beautiful blond mane by keeping all hair off your face and neck (so you won’t turn brassy- and blond shampoo won’t fix it either!!) All in all- I really love this self tanner and I use it weekly. But if you are buying it thinking it’s fully fool proof and non transferring, it’s not!

Grande habituée des autobronzants, je découvre celui ci avec émerveillement ! Zéro traces et pourtant malgré le gant et mon ancienneté dans la pratique, ce n’est jamais évident. Et le résultat dure vraiment une bonne semaine sans parfum de noisette grillée ni décoloration en mosaïque. Je l’adopte ✨

Applies nicely on application but doesn’t give a dark tan and it goes SO patchy after a couple of days despite moisturising daily. Won’t be repurchasing
