Just what I needed and feels very good in the hand. I hope the crisp markings last but not a bad buy. Recommended.

Fantastic ruler I have brought a fair few normal flat plastic/metal rules in the past and found they are ok, but.. This 3 side triangle type ruler feels way better and seems easier to hold down keeping it in place whilst drawing a straight line. This ruler is solid aluminium, edges rounded, so no shape corners to damage the surface your working on. It comes in a handy plastic triangle tube to keep it in. Pleased with my purchase

Really useful for drawing to scale and scale models. Love that it has a case which I can keep it in but would be better if it had a normal ruler scaling on it.

I chose this ruler for technical drawing and scale checks on printed plans, expecting accuracy and durability rather than decorative appeal. In the hand, the aluminium body feels rigid and precisely machined, with a reassuring weight that keeps it from sliding across paper. The laser-etched markings are crisp, deeply cut, and easy to read under workshop lighting, which matters when working quickly. I checked several metric scales against known references and found them accurate, with no visible drift or misalignment along the length. In day-to-day use, the triangular profile is practical, offering multiple scales in a compact footprint, though it does make it slightly less comfortable to hold for long measuring sessions compared with a flat rule. Edges are cleanly finished but not chamfered enough to be truly ergonomic. While it lacks any grip coating, it stays put reasonably well on smooth paper. Overall, it is a precise, well-made drafting tool that prioritises function over comfort.

A useful tool for my drawing. The shape helps me to move it around easily. The markings on it are very clear and the ruler feels substantial and good quality. I am also pleased to have found a ruler with exclusively inch measurements and not metric. It also comes in a rather nice plastic box like a Toblerone box! Pleased with my purchase.
