I found that Eargene does work to ease the itch of my ears, after I used a shampoo and conditioner targeting hair loss, with the side effect of causing scaling and itching ears. My Family Doctor didn't recommend anything when I saw him seeking help for the itching of my ears. Eargene works, but you have to keep using it. It's not a once or twice a week treatment, that can be stopped right away. I haven't used it long enough that I'm totally back to no itchy ears, so wouldn't give it 5 stars yet, but it does seem to be decreasing the itch over time. If you've ever experienced itchy ears, then you know anything that gives even a short relief, is worthwhile. I do believe in the few weeks I've been using it, that I'm going longer between the severe itch that has required consistent cleaning to keep the itching at bay. The product manufacturer recommends using a cotton pad to clean the whole ear area. and that is how I've been using it. It isn't recommended as an ear drop to drench the ear. I had hoped I could use it once and the itching would be gone, and I would have then given it 5 stars.

Eargene really helps relieve my itchy ears. I dip a QTip on the bottle and gently swab it just inside my ear canal opening, and it relieves the itching for about 8 hours. It has also eliminated the flaky skin I get in my ear canals.

I got the bottle of product meant to use in your ears. There was no applicator top or dropper to apply the product. I had to purchase separate bottles to use this product. Which meant I had to wait to use it. If Eargene hand not come highly recommended I would have returned it.

Worked well. Helped me not be irritated by my hearing aid
