NEVER WORKED AT ALL! From the moment I got it out of the package and hooked it up to my iPad and my iPhone there was never any connectivity to the new Vox amp I bought that can be controlled via an iOS device. It's pretty clear that the cable is rather flimsy and the plastic is quite cheap. My guess is the actual electronics in this thing are garbage and unable to provide an appropriate connection for communication.I went out today to my local Apple store and just spent the money on an actual Apple brand name adaptor of this type. Sure enough, problem instantly solved! My iPhone and iPad communicate with my amp now! I tried first to go for a bargain but it was a bust. So if you're looking for this type of adaptor, don't waste your time and money here. Just get the real thing.

I purchased this camera connection kit for my midi controller and it literally worked 10mins during my session and shortaged out.

Would not work with the app that I was using in the device that I was using it with as soon as I went and bought the original Apple connection kit, it worked fine
