4 Pack Washable Pee Pads for Dogs 34"x36", Waterproof Puppy Pee Pads

I bought these for my aging dog, who may have some doggy dementia. She has decided to do her business in the house. I'm not going to argue with a 15 year-old dog who has, until now, been solidly trained to go outside. I was using just the disposable pads from Costco, but they weren't cutting it. I was having to put down a few layers of those pads as sometimes she goes close to the edge, and so leaks. These are much larger, and thicker, so I put these down and put a disposable or two over the top. I can usually change out the disposables a few times, and then throw these in the wash. So far, they have washed up nicely, look as good as new when coming out of the washing machine. I do wash them twice, with white vinegar. Instructions say no bleach, but white vinegar with regular laundry detergent seems to be sufficient. My old gal isn't a chewer, so no clue if a chewer could destroy these quickly. I imagine so. But I do like these enough that I just ordered and received my second package of four so I have more clean ones in the queue to change more often.

I have a dog that’s been pee pad trained since a puppy. He’s a Pom, and usually goes outside, but he will go on his pee pads if he really needs to. But then he had stones in his bladder. He had them twice and had two surgeries for them. But the second time and they found so much scare tissue from the last surgery in his bladder, they had to remove some of his bladder. So, now his bladder is smaller and he has to go more often. Since then, he will use pee pads more especially at night or if we are away too long. These washable pads are a life saver and so well made and wash up very nicely! I even throw them in the dryer and they come out looking like new every time. I was going through many disposable pee pads which are so expensive ( and going up in price all the time) and not good for the environment. So, I heard about reusable pee pads and researched and looked and liked these the best, so I bought them. Boy, I’m glad I did! I love the fact that they’re white, so I can see if there is blood in his urine! They look just like the disposable ones I buy, so my dog isn’t leery about using them at all. But that’s not the best of it! The pee goes away like. The more it sits, it gets like dry on the top again, and everything is held inside, and the top gets dry! He can pee over and over on it many times if we’re not home and if it sits long enough, it’s dry on the top for him again and not really wet. He doesn’t like getting his paws wet;-) AND there is no smell. The disposable ones do still smell if they sit at all, while these don’t! I was so surprised at all this, it was like magic! I bought a package of four and that was perfect for me, because I wash clothes often. And if you have a large dog that pees more, just put an extra rinse cycle on and you’ll be fine. I haven’t had my washer smell at all! But, boy this can save you some real money! Plus, your doing the environment a favor. I wish I knew about these years ago!!! If I could give this product 10 stars I would. Also, very fast shipping, too.

These are amazing! I bought them for my 18 year old dog who is having pee pee and poopy accidents on her sleeping mat daily. She refuses to do her business outside. I was using disposable pads with towels on top. That worked, but I was washing towels and throwing out pads twice a day. After going through 140 disposable pads, I decided to try these. They are completely absorbent. No wetness underneath. Because they have two layers, they're slightly heavy, so they stay in place on my dog's sleeping mat. I wash them in warm water and hang over my ironing board to dry. They're dry within a few hours. I've only been using them for a week so I can't report on durability, but they're holding their shape and the fabric is smooth and not pilling. Totally worth the money. This might gross some people out, but I think they're somewhat resistant to poop too. When I pick up her poop with a paper towel, I don't see a poop stain or residue. It was completely different with paper pads and towels. The pad is white but I can't even tell she pooped on it. So, unless she pees on it too, I wait to wash it another day. I'm aware that's not sanitary but if it doesn't smell or show any residue, it saves me from constant washing. Occasionally, she'll have a loose poop and I'll wash it immediately. I should win a prize for how many times I can use the word poop in a paragraph. :)

My dogs don’t go outside in these pads worked perfectly. They’ve never spent time outside.

UPDATE: After using these for quite a while now, we have become very happy with them. They have held up well through a zillion washes, and continue to do the job we need then to do. I still dbl stack them, but its not a big deal. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We have purchased these pads 6 times over the last several years. Originally they were thicker and of different materials, and absorbed much better. The latest version is much thinner, and while they absorb fluid well, they also soak through. So while we have always stacked two of them on the bed, the new versions often soak through to the pad below, (meaning more pads to wash) while the older version never did and I only had to wash the top pad.

I love these so much. I have a dog with a heart condition and she has to be on a diuretic, which means she always has to pee. She is older and doesn't alert me that she needs to go outside to potty. These have been a life saver. They never leak. It's so easy to throw them in the washer, and I air dry them. They dry very quickly. I just ordered my second set to add to another area in the house.

This product was used for my rabbit! We have hardwood floors and he tends to slide around on them. These under pads helped him keep his traction! And it was perfect for his left behind "waste". Nothing soaked through to the floor. A great product for a slipping rabbit!

These things are awesome. I was worried they would be too small, but they are the PERFECT size. I have one on the couch where my grandmother sits, two on her bed, and one extra (just in case). I’m actually going to buy another package so that I have a couple to leave in the car for whenever we go out. They cover a great deal of surface. They aren’t annoyingly thick or thin. Just right. One thing I will say is that, like with any pads, when you sleep on them every night, they bunch up underneath you. To remedy this and avoid any skin irritation (especially with the elderly), I’d smooth them out every morning after getting out of bed. Very simple and easy solution. They do retain heat pretty well, which might be a bit frustrating if you run hot at night. Haven’t been a problem yet, and my grandmother is notorious for getting up in the middle of the night and flinging open doors due to the heat. Haven’t experienced any leakage in the few weeks we’ve been using these. I’m very very happy with this product and will definitely be buying them again for the car. I reckon if you have kids, putting these underneath a car cover would be an effective solution to spills…I’d honestly buy a whole new package just for that. Slap em all over the car if you must lol.
