Fimo is a superior quality polymer clay by far.

In general it was good, but softer than expected,it some time hard to put them in mold, and after backing them ,some times they bleach even by touch or cleaning.

It's an amazing material that I have been using for the past 10 years. So far I have only received fresh clay from Amazon. Sometimes I have gotten old one from other shops. It can happen because not everyone knows how to store it. (Air tight, not in hot temperatures, not exposed to sun). You always have to condition the clay by kneading it or running it through pasta machine, even if it's fresh. To redistribute the polymers in the clay, make it more pliable and durable. In case it arrives hard or crumbly, you can save it by adding any clay softener. Fimo, Premo, Cernit and Kato brands all have a softener you can use that works with this clay. I simply crumble it all up, add a couple drops or bits of softener, keep mixing and kneading, and it comes back to life. Green stuff world sculptor Vaseline also works for bringing it back to life. So in case you don't have time to return and replace it you can try saving it. If it's too fresh and sticky, you can leach it by placing it between 2 clean papers and weighing it with something to absorb the extra oils and get desired consistency. I use a pasta machine to condition it, and bake it at instructed temperature, using an oven thermometer to avoid temp spikes -for 1 hour at any size. That is the ideal baking time (despite instructions), as it makes the polymers connect really well and clay to retain a certain flexibility. When it falls on the ground, it doesn't break. (You can't achieve this after just 15min of baking.) That's what I have experienced after 10 years of using it regularly. Black clay takes shiny mica powders beautifully. I love it and would recommend it. Especially the soft line for beginners.
