This was the 3rd 17 key Kalimba I purchased. I decided to keep this one. It is absolutely beautiful! The sound quality is wonderful. It's solid wood with a blue acrylic insert that has a tiny whale and jellyfish inside. The entire instrument is covered with a smooth polished finish. The Kalimba was tuned perfectly when it arrived. I have music knowledge and play several instruments and I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this Kalimba. It cost a bit more than some of the other 17 key Kalimbas, but so worth the price. I think the wood part will be very durable. I wouldn't hesitate giving this as a gift. I'm very happy with my purchase. I love it!

I recently learned about kalimbas and thought they were really cool and relaxing so I bought 3 different ones. I compared the MIFOGE kalimba (wood), AKLOT kalimba (acrylic), Ubblove kalimba (marine - wood+acrylic). Of the three, this was by far my favorite, and the one that I decided to keep. While I liked that the hollow wooden kalimba was louder, I couldn’t trade that for how melodious this one was. None of the tines are dead (they all ring clear) and the sound resonates for so much longer. It’s well made and very beautiful and the fact that it’s so pretty sounding, but also so visually appealing, makes it all the more relaxing and fun to play for me. Would recommend this 1000%

Loved this! Super fun to play and easy to learn on! It has a very calming and pretty sound to it. Easy to store and great quality of wood! Its color was very pretty!! Also came with all the things you’d need to tune it up!

Such a beautiful instrument and the wood is a perfect color. It arrived well packaged and I appreciate that the tuning hammer and carry bag are included.

What do you get the men in your life that are impossible to shop for? Why unique instruments of course! My dad is a guitar player but dabbles with all sorts of instruments. He’s also a hiker and this lil instrument is the perfect size for a back pack. It come with instructions, tuning supplies and a polishing cloth as well as a velvet carrying bag. I gave it a lil experiment plink-a-plink and think I might have to get myself one some time. Can’t wait to give it to my dad for Christmas. (For reference, my dad is in his mid 60’s and has been playing instruments in various bands since before I was born!)

I bought this Kalimba for an Operation Christmas Child present. I was amazed by the beautiful piece and lovely sound. I have one of the palm sized thumb pianos (not from this company) and the sound is very tinny, though charming. I was expecting the same sound quality, but this actual piece had the most delicately beautiful sound. Playing it made me feel like I was in my favorite movie, ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and made me think on lovely (and some lonely) thoughts. I was reluctant to part with it and am considering obtaining one for myself. It comes with a bag, an instruction booklet with some music and a tuning kit. Nice job, guys!

My 13 year old son requested this and was able to learn how to play songs by watching online videos. Very cute and sounds good. Would buy again.

Fire time player, first kalimba so I don’t have much to compare it to but it looks gorgeous and has a nice sound. Took me all of about 20 minutes to tune it with an app (some of the tabs were a bit off) but it comes with everything to tune it as well.
