Hi! The Pro Rugged with the armortex is a good option, as it is tested against repeat contact with concrete. I would expect to see some wear and tear as there isn’t a plastic component to the pad. But if you are looking for something light, comfortable and protective... it is a great choice. You just might need to compromise a little on durability and longevity of the pad though, as it does not have a hard outer shell.

Can you wash knee pads in the washing machine or hand wash?

You can wash the Pro Rugged knee pad in a washing machine. You just need to AIR DRY and not put it in the dryer.
