As funny as it was when I was 7 years old

The Maid Marian TV series kept me entertained for many an hour as a child and these comic-style books are equally as entertaining as an adult. Tony Robinson has an obvious enthusiasm for history and this spin on the classic tale of Robin Hood is a perfect example of his passion.

This, and the others in the series are proper books, not just comics. I have found them invaluable for engaging disaffected readers of all ages. The Maid Marion books are very funny AND historically almost accurate.
