The case is 9 ½ in L, by 1 ½ in W, ¾ in D. By the way, the straw length is 8 ¼ in, but the moveable silicone cover can extend the straw up to 10 ½ in. Hope this helps.

Could you use this drinking hot coffee? I am trying to figure out how to avoid getting my teeth tainted by coffee.

I’m sure you could because it’s metal and silicon which both can withstand heat but keep in mind it’s never recommended to drink any hot liquid through any straw because it concentrates the heat to one spot (the straw)and can burn your mouth you much easier
