Fantastic, helpful, and well worth the cost!
I have purchase this twice, first for my 96 year old mother who finds it to be an excellent way to be sure and take her medications twice a day. It worked so well that we ordered one for my brother! Setting it up is very easy if you follow the directions on the brochure that's included. You just set the time and day, and then set the times you want the morning and evening alarms to go off. Not only does it sound the alarm, but it lights up the individual pill compartment that you need to take at that time. It's well made, and ensures that no mistakes or forgotten medications occur. Great product!

Easy to use and well made
Works as described. I didn't find it confusing but some might. Well built and will last. Nicely done.

Too expensive for older adults on limited income
I give it only one star due to the price. It is well made, good design, and may help accomplish an important task, but it is a simple, plastic pill case with a digital alarm clock and flashing red light. It may annoy some who may prefer silence.

Wish you could buy pink pods.
This is working very well for my mother in law however, it comes with one extra set of clear ones. You cannot even order a second set of the pink ones, I know because I reached out to the company. It’s frustrating because it would be helpful to be able to set up her pills for two weeks at a time and just switch out the pods at the end of week one. You cannot even order purchase extra clear ones but that is just confusing. She knows the pink ones are evening the way hers are set up so changing that to clear would be too much. If I could at least buy them I would be happier. Functionally, it works well but a week goes by very quickly and as caregivers having two weeks set at once would be a great time saver.

Lets you set multiple daily alarms—perfect for consistent AM/PM medication reminders.
Ah, got it—thanks for clarifying! You’re right. A natural flow that includes both the positives and negatives but ends on a strong, encouraging note works best. Here’s your original review, refined just slightly for clarity and tone, with that positive closing added in: ⸻ This was a Christmas gift from my son, and since I started using it, I’ve only missed my meds once—and that was because I was working upstairs and didn’t hear the alarm. The ability to set both morning and evening reminders has been incredibly helpful for keeping me consistent with my medication routine. The alarm is a bit loud and slightly annoying, but that’s actually a plus—it ensures you’ll hear it from most parts of the house and gets you moving when you need it. At first, I found it odd that each pill container pulls out individually, but I’ve grown to appreciate that feature—it prevents spills and makes it easy to take pills directly without fumbling. One of the biggest downsides, though, is the programming. While the device is supposed to support multiple alarms, actually setting them up is not intuitive. I’m generally tech-savvy, and even I couldn’t figure it out without help. There are only a few YouTube videos available, and the included instructions are vague at best—they don’t walk you through setting specific times in detail. My son figured it out eventually, but clearer, step-by-step instructions would make a big difference. Also, the AM/PM day labels aren’t aligned in a straightforward way—when you flip the case, the days don’t line up (Sunday isn’t on top of Sunday, for example). It can be confusing and almost led me to take PM pills in the morning once. This organizer is definitely made for home use, not travel—but despite those few quirks, once it’s set up, it’s made a big difference in helping me stay consistent with my daily medications. It’s a genuinely helpful tool, and I’m glad to have it.

This is such a lifesaver!
I bought this for my elderly father who is in the beginning stages of dementia. I cannot say enough good things about this pill dispenser. The reviews on how to set the alarms saying it was difficult to set had me worried but it didn't take all that long to figure out. It has been the best thing to help my dad and it's really almost cute at how excited he gets to see when the light and alarm goes off when it is time to take his meds. It keeps perfect time and helps to keep a routine. I would buy this time and time again.

Great idea
Works good. Simple to use. Take the meds in the flashing container. Tap the button twice. Ready for the next Alert.

Makes sure I take the right meds at the right time on the right day!
A little confusing to set up, but I figured it out in about 15 mins. The YouTube video was very helpful. This works great! The pill boxes are just big enough to hold my many prescriptions and a few large supplements. The alarm and flashing lights make sure I don't forget to take my meds. I take Rx's for day and night. The flashing light makes sure I don't get them mixed up...which I had been doing a lot lately. My whole day is ruined when I do that. It's expensive. I hesitated to spend this much $$$. But it is worth it if it lasts. It requires 2 AA batteries.

Good memory care support item.
Great for a gentle reminder. Peace of mind for caregiver as well and helps maintain some independence for patient. Not simple to program. UTUBE instructions are easier. We take the daily dosages from the pharmacy prepared daily blister pack and move them to the daily MedQ holders in the unit because of the reminder function. . No chance of an error in missing a pill or double dosing in the MedQ individual units. The daily pill units are large enough to hold the prescriptions and vitamins supplements daily. This eliminates the need to remember to take the blister pack as well as separate vitamin dosages. There is a learning curve for memory impaired patients as to resetting to the next alert after taking the current dosage. If this is not done the benefits of the case are void vs the blister pack method. It would be another gentle reminder if somehow the “Next Alert” button could flash ie the pill units as a prompt to advance the alerts to the next programmed alert to keep programming accurate for date and time. Everything else is visual cluing except this vital function. On the whole this does what we need at present. Because the alerts are set for specific times it has had an extra benefit of regulating when meds should be taken vs if and when they are remembered which can be important to maintain a somewhat evenly spaced dosage. Overall this has been helpful for both the patient and caregiver to preserve independence with assistance in the vital area of medication and worth the investment. If the patient is in need of this next level of medication management it most likely they will need assistance with the programming of the alerts to make it beneficial and instructions how to use it. It is working for us at this point in avoiding missed doses or double doses but only if “Next Alert” is activated after taking the current dose. Availability of replacement daily pill boxes would be great if damaged, lost or medication changes or to simply to refresh if used over the long term and to start clean would be nice. Consistency and familiarity is vital to memory care patients.

The containers should all be locked so the individual cannot take a double dose
