5 stars to the seller, to those in delivery, and to the Uni Jetstream edge pen! I love the .28 nib! I am excited about this pen on every facet! It’s smooth fine line, feel of the road. It is like an expensive sports car ride. You will always get a smoother write, most of the time from a 1.0. I consider 1.0’s like the smooth ride of a big Cadillac or Lincoln. This pen’s feel and 0.28 mm nib offer a smooth write with also the light feel of the road that adds better control for a better legible write. A most excellent pen. You will always see me carrying this and the Signo 0.28 in my pocket! The ones to beat, in my opinion. I cannot wait to try out the Edge 3 which offers multi colors - a pen I use much in the field of my work!

My most favorite pen I had for my 2025 school year. I had this for about a year and it is the best. The pen is so light weight and the smoothness of the ink was amazing. The ink started to fade after a year past and it is hard to look for an ink refill. Entirely, I would recommend it for people who are in school and the price is worth it.

It doesn’t have *quite* the weight you’d want, but overall this is a fine pen. The ink is terrific — smooth, quick-drying, no smudges, and very readably dark. Note that a .28 is a very fine nib, the lines are thinner than a very sharp pencil. But if you want that (I did), this is a great value and a nice step up from the all-plastic entry-level Jetstreams. The design looks great too.

It's a very very small ball, so of course it will have a bit of trouble writing. The line is very thin, and it's a dense, good quality plastic design. Ink had trouble from the beginning but it smoothed out for a while. It then dried out a couple weeks after opening because I didn't use it much I imagine. Not very comfortable to hold. I got it as a "wow look they make one smaller than .5!" novelty and had my fun. Wouldn't use this for daily writing, if you want something thin I recommend a Japanese made extra-fine nib fountain pen, which gets down to about .3 without the ink ball trouble. Plus the refills are easier and wider variety of color.

This is is nice pen, but please be aware that evening though it's a 0.28mm, it writes more like a 0.20mm. I still sent it back because it didn't sit my journal purpose I had in mind. I plan to try a thicker nib in the same series.

The picture of this pen really doesn't do it justice. The grip is way too wide and honestly the pen feels really really cheap. They use a really thin piece of aluminum I would assume for the grip and then the rest of the pen is plastic. It's not really uncomfortable too hold but there's just no area where you feel "right" holding it. The pen is just extremely light, in a bad way. For $20 I would expect some aspect of quality. Even the clip is just some garbage wire. I prefer writing in fine points and the lowest I've been to is 0.38 so I thought I'd try 0.28. First things first, the ink barely comes out, it skips waaaaaay too much and when it does work, you don't know if anything is coming out anyways since it's too thin of a line. You just end up scratching the paper. I really don't recommend this pen, even as the most ardent of Fine point users, I'm telling you this is a waste of your money and time as you will rush to get your money back.

The Uni Jetstream EDGE 0.28mm is an amazing pen. The thinnest smoothest oil-based ballpoint pen I've come across. Rich dark black line which is also super thin. The refill is thin but lasts long enough. The aluminium front section gives it a nice balance even though it's still a fairly light pen made mostly of plastic. The click has a nice quality feeling.

Its not a regular ball pen and you will surely be disappointed if you buy it expecting the performance of a regular pen. About me - I invest in stationery and buy unique products. I like the experience of getting new (& less known) pens and trying them out. About Uniball - Uniball is the world leader is pens and you may have used pens by this company. If not, please buy them and try - they are a delight to write with. About this pen - its a niche product with very fine tip (0.28 mm). Therefore the USP of this pen is its fine writing. And that's what you should buy it for. The weight is well distributed, the bottom being heavier that the top. And its very comfortable to hold. Pros Writers very smooth, like butter. The fine tip is a delight for those looking for a unique writing experience. Uniball quality shines through - as I said, they are world leaders in pens Cons The pen writes best at a particular angle; so you have to adjust accordingly. Like many ball pens, it takes a day or two to catch up and become smooth. Before that, you require patience. After that, its a joy to write! Since its a niche product, refill availability will be a problem. I plan to buy some from Amazon and stock up. Price is high - but its a niche product, not your regular 10-rupaye-wala-ball-pen-available-at-nukkad-shop. So if you know what you are getting into, buy it, give it a few days and enjoy the ride! Imagine the pen being an orchid - requires care and watering and will wither away in harsh conditions; but when it blooms, its a joy to watch! Hope the review will help make you an informed purchase decision. This pen is not for everyone!

This is not for everyone but if you appreciate hair thin lines then you will freaking love this pen. I received it and have barely let it out of my sight since. I love love love the super fine line of the .28. I tend to write with my pen in a more upright position — more like a sumi brush than a ballpoint — so for me this pen works very well. If you tend to hold your pens at a more acute angle to the page you may find it a bit skippy. 100% would buy again — new fav pen for sure.
