This product was amazing in cleaning my carpets. It got a it of the stains out and you don’t need a lot so it lasts a long time. Well worth the money.

I was looking through the carpet cleaning formulas to find something that would clean our carpet and remove dog urine odors. Our Scottie is 9 this year and is having more "accidents" on our carpet which was installed a little over two years ago. I was having trouble removing the urine odor and saw the great reviews on this product. I have a Bissell Green Machine and I took a screwdriver and punched out the little black stopper in the top of the bottle and was able to pour the cleaner out of the bottle doing this. I only used about half of a cap full of the cleaner in the water/soap tank and then added some hot water (not a lot). I'm sure if you have the carpet cleaner that you screw the bottle onto it would just drain the bottle quickly. The carpet is still drying but so far so good with no odors (and I get down on my hands and knees and really smell the carpet to check it!). I will come back and update this if the odor returns but I don't think they will return. Love this product!

This is solid stuff. Gets odors out pretty well and does a decent cleaning job. Unfortunately my yet to be fixed Corgi was leaving some..... fluids.... on the couch that this wasn't quite enough to pick up so I had to use some Spot Shot on those which got them up. Maybe if I went at it a little more this would have been enough but I was scrubbing pretty hard. He also had a recurring bout with Giardia which is why we decide to give this stuff a shot since it's antibacterial. Whether this helped or not, the issue never spread to anyone else that sat on our furniture and he's now free of the parasite. Also, don't leave this stuff on your skin for too long without rinsing. It had this really weird affect on my skin that made it look like my skin was calcifying or something. It looked powdery but I couldn't scratch or peal it off and it was a little itchy/burny. After 5 minutes it just went away and my hands looked like nothing happened at all.

Like others have mentioned this does have a funny smell to it; kind of like a industrial peroxide smell. The plus side is once the rug is dry the smell is gone. How good it is?? I love it. We just got a new puppy, and you know how that goes. We were cleaning up any accidents right way my old Bissell Liftoff but there was still a slight odor left behind which would encourage her to go in the same spot again. We also had an issue with a slight musty smell coming from our rugs, leftover from the previous owners, which i tried getting rid of using different products including adding ammonia to the solution. I mixed this with the Bissell Pet odor/stain solution and problem solved; she hasn't had an issue since, and the musty odor is finally gone. I would highly recommend this to anyone, unless you are sensitive to any chemical smells.

I know people mistakenly buy this for their "non-easy fill systems" and found it frustrating to open the bottle. I removed mine with pliers.. I can confirm that the entire yellow cap can be removed. I just did it. You'll need large pliers for the job to make it easier. Grip your pliers around the yellow cap, rotate the cap counterclockwise (while left hand is holding bottle), then you'll hear/feel like a plastic to plastic grinding sound. Keep going until the cap is FREED! Another pointer is to use the pliers to smoothen out the bottle ridges that blocked removal earlier. Then when this is done you can now turn to cap for easy removal and replacement. I bought it to destroy mold and fungi spores and other microorganisms in my carpet. Tomorrow I'll use it and give some more feedback. I'll start with a 5 Star Rating and may drop down dependent on my experience. Best of luck to you all.
