No longer in production - you are being price-gounged!
This is THE BEST rinse I have ever found. However, I have discovered that it is no longer being manufactured by the company and so that is why the price is so high. It is supposed to retail for $29.95. The last price I saw was $49.95 as someone has bought up the remaining stock and is price-gouging. After this is gone, there will be NO MORE!!! I as advised by the company that I could only potentially find something like it by getting my dentist or oral surgreon to prescribe something for me. I am very sad that this is no longer being produced and that those who do sell it are selling it at an exorbitant price knowing that we want it so badly. America - free market!

Hard to say for sure
OK so my gums started getting very sensitive after using Mentadent toothpaste (peroxide I'm guessing)and it was most uncomfortable. So I started buying a sensitive gums toothpaste which didn't help much. Then I really went nuts and bought a Philips Sonicare toothbrush for over a hundred bucks and right after I did that, I saw this stuff. I bought it too. I used it for a few weeks and it didn't seem to do much at first. But about a month into taking it (that's as long as they tell you to take it), this product combined with my Sonicare toothbrush (on massage setting) has my mouth clean and pain free. It's hard to say which had the most effect so I'll split the difference. This stuff tastes terrible but it was worth it to have my mouth back to normal. I recommend giving it a shot.

$26 for 1 BOTTLE!
I love the PRODUCT, but the seller is a crook. I ordered this expecting 3 bottles, I paid about the same price before for 3 bottles, so I was shocked opening the box to only 1 bottle. I returned, but any company that would sell 1 bottle for $26 and feel good about it, not adjust the price afterwards or instantly say sorry and refunds, I dunno, $13 or so dollars... well, karma baby.

Theradent Sensitive Teeth Oral Rinse does work.
This is my second order for this product from Amazon. I've always had a problem with sensitive teeth, especially as I get older. I tried this last year and it relieved that annoying pain that comes with sensitive nerve endings. I tend to overbrush at times and I know that causes the sensitivity. When I start to use this product within a matter of a day or two the sensitivity subsides. Actually it starts to work right away. It really works on the exposed dentin that can cause teeth to become overly sensitive to hot and cold drinks or food. Theradent Sensitive Teeth Oral rinse is good to have on hand. I usually purchase the pack of 2, which lasts quite a while.

Not worth the money. Price Gouge!
For the exorbitant price I paid for this product, I would not recommend it. If I paid $10 or under, maybe, but $56 with very little in terms of results. Not worth the money

Taste great but does not always work
Theradent oral rinse is a great idea but the product does not always work, at least not for me. The taste is of cloves which I find interesting and pleasing to the breath. I cannot say it does not work because it does appear to work occasionally but not enough for me to purchase this product again. It seems to work best if used between brushing and after meals to extend the sensitive toothpaste's reach. I would encourage those who have the miserable problem of sensitive teeth to give this product a try because each person is different and it might be what you are looking for.

Works well for me, and easy to make your own
I have had a lot of trouble with sensitive teeth practically all of my adult life. Tried many different products over the years, and this one worked better than any of them. Used it pretty consistently for many years, until it was discontinued. When the manufacturer discontinued it, the price gougers snarfed up all the remaining bottles. I contacted the manufacturer, and was told they would be coming out with a replacement product for it, but as far as I know, they never did. I was very distraught about it, and desperate to get the relief that Theradent had provided, so I decided to make a replacement rinse for myself. I just buy any standard off-the-shelf fluoride rinse, then add tiny amounts of the other three mineral ingredients to it (sodium nitrate, calcium acetate, dipotassium phosphate), shake well, and voila! Much cheaper than the original Theradent, and works as well or better!
