Which is better 6-point or 12-point socket

All depends on the fastener. U won't be able to tighten a 12 point bolt with a 6 point socket. Use 6 point sockets on 6 point fasteners and 12 point sockets on 12 point fasteners. U can use 12 point sockets on 6 point fasteners but u won't be able to put any sort of torque to the fastener

Tekton is a Michigan company (I live in upper Mi. and prefer their tools for quality) this socket was made in Taiwan.
