Also includes sheet music and a sturdy black music bag, so you can tote everything to music lessons. Flute is 8 inches long. This item is intended for play with both our 18" & 23" dolls. *Please Note* This is a toy, it is not meant to be a working flute.

Cute and good quality!

Very cute and seems pretty sturdy for the price I paid. Came with a duffle back and music book that was really cute. The duffle bag alone was probably worth what I paid for the flute.

OK doll flute. Keys do not move.

I searched out a flute that's compatible with American Girl dolls yet doesn't cost a fortune. This one is nicely proportioned and comes in what looks like a little nylon gym bag (not pictured) as well as a somewhat bizarre trophy (shown). More expensive models with miniature cases and moveable keys are nicer, but honestly, while this seems like a good idea for a child who plays the flute and loves AG dolls, you can't really do much with it except prop it up in your doll's hand. The girl I gave it to liked it, but was pretty instantly bored with it. As gift ideas go, I consider this one a bit of a flop.
