Good Protractor
I needed a protractor for the home shop and ordered this one based on internet research/reviews. It is well made and appears to be accurate. The numbers are easy to read and it has an adjustable thumb screw to lock in the setting.

Just what I needed.
Works great . I/8" thick and works smooth. At 90° it measures out to be true 90°. Just needs a little improvement. The locking knob is way too loose on the stud. You tighten it too much to lock it down, I have a feeling it's eventually going to strip out. The stud is 3mm, I replaced the loose knob with a 3mm brass knob and now it locks down the angle so it doesn't move.

Nice protractor
This is a nice protractor. The numbers are easy to read and you can leave it in the box to keep it in good shape. The knurled knob does tend to slip a bit. But use a 3mm “spring” washer and it tightens up. There are always pluses and minus’ when buying online. Anyone that uses tools understand some need tweaking.

Functional
Historically used a machinist style protractor. This works similarly but I found it very functional. Easy to read and set.

Cheapest option at the time, but shop around
I picked up this WEN adjustable aluminum protractor because it was the cheapest one I could find when I needed it. It works as intended and the laser-etched scale is clear enough, but prices on these tools fluctuate constantly. I definitely recommend shopping around to make sure you're getting the best price before you buy, as you might find a similar or better deal elsewhere.

Highly Accurate
This adjustable protractor is laser etched so its markers will not rub off with time; I bought the 5-inch model to suit my design needs. EDIT: Very satisfied after measuring a 20-degree cutting angle for a well-loved knife. The protractor and angle gauge was spot-on and worked brilliantly. The tool has a nice tactile feel.
