Sony Interactive Entertainment The Last of Us Part II Standard PlayStation 4

Its great fun and compelling doest go the way people wanted and goes for a darker less forgiving tone where the characters actions have consequencess, great game overall great characters and smart writting and fantastic performances makes you understand both sides rlly well. The criticism the game is getting is unfair as people either haven't played the game and based it off leaks and just see important clips of the game or they fail to understand that not everthing goes the way you want and not everyone needs to die in a glorious way. The gameplay : Its feels so amazing the shotting mechanics are impactful and when u get hit you feel it grabbing someone as a hostage for a few seconds making enemies not shoot feels so badass. The hand to hand is so grounded and immersive the dodge mechanic is rlly well placed and the immense variety of animations and combos is unreal i am on the 2nd play through and have seen many that i did not see before The stealth is one of the best out there to lying under truck or lying in grass the animations look so smooth they nailed it it all feels like ome big set piece and npcs feel smart they dont just stand there they interact with stuff they look around, if they are talking from a distance and u kill one of the people mid sentence people will investigate as to why he stopped talking also dogs are a new addition and makes the game even more tense Visuals/sound: One of the best if not the most gorgeous and detailed games out there the various landscapes are all stunning and compelling, each are that u come across looks unbelievable so detailed. The sound is something naughty dog always nails and they haven't with part 2 either Overall i think naughty took a risk in story and alot of people didn't like it along with the leaks thag put people off game leaks with no context the game is worth a try to judge for yourself and not jump on the bandwagon like so many are its truly a masterpiece one of the best games os this generation and a great sequel dark intense sequel that makes you feel so many emotions and they accomplished what they wanted

NO SPOILERS: This is a very complex game and it is shockingly realistic for a video game which is why I think some people don't like it and I completely get it. However this is just my personal opinion because this is one of the greatest and boldest video games I have played but it still has it's flaws and on subsequent playthroughs they stick out like a sore thumb because of how good the overall game is. STORY: I'd say this is phenomenal storytelling and not just by video game standards. The music and presentation are top notch with probably the most detailed game world that I've ever seen and the acting is just ridiculously good. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson really deserve more recognition after this. There are some things in the story that on subsequent playthroughs I have come to dislike but these are minor in the face of all that the game does right. This game is an emotional rollercoaster and very faithful to the spirit of the original so most of all you'll need perspective to understand the story. There's no black and white in this game but whole lot of gray. I think of this story as the crisscross of uncharted 4 and last of us and that's all I can say of the story without spoiling anything. GAMEPLAY: Solid gameplay. Nothing groundbreaking but just solid and much more flexible than the last one with different approaches to tackle levels. The highlight is how immersive it is and how well it connects with the story. Again, this is a great game and the things people dislike about it can be purely attributed to how realistically it plays out. Everyone in this game is in constant peril and the overall story till the very end is very bleak and depressing. I never get moved by video games but this one and red dead 2 really got to me so that's how good it is. Final verdict is 5/5.

I love the first game. I was worried that Part II wouldn’t live up to my expectations, but it did not disappoint. The gameplay is absolutely revolutionary, with outstanding graphics and detail. It feels immersive and real. The combat was insane, with the enemy AI actually reacting to where you shoot/hit them as if they suffering real pain. The weapons were slightly modified for easier use, which was helpful. Overall, it ran very smoothly. Speed runners are going to have a field day with this game. It was hard going back to the first game after getting used to the gameplay in Part II. Controversial opinion, but I loved the story. I felt grief, shock, hatred - all the emotions Naughty Dog wants you to feel. The events at the start of the game left me hungry for revenge. Make no mistake, this is what Naughty Dog intended, so that you can share Ellie’s emotions as you play and go through the process of grief with her. I know Part II has faced a lot of criticism. I truly believe these critics have either never finished the game, or simply didn’t understand the story. (Mild spoiler ahead) The characters’ deaths were quick, brutal, shocking, out of nowhere, and messy (very messy, actually). Although it is very hard to watch, I think it is an accurate representation of how things would actually be within this specific apocalyptic universe. We may not like it, but in this “dog eat dog” world, this is how things would go. I think ND portrays this consistently throughout the first and second game, so I do not understand some of the criticism. Ellie was a great “protagonist”, if you can call her that, and I learned to enjoy playing as Abby too. Therefore, I cannot rate this game anything under 5 stars. It is a masterpiece.

Be aware this will completely wreck you and leave you a sobbing mess with no faith in humanity.

Good game to play solo, but a little repetitive & switches to different characters too often. Enjoy playing first person game, graphics good ect. But feel the love angle/gender detail not required.

Solo puedo recomendarlo si lo que te gustan son las aventuras basadas mas en historia que mecánicas. Entre el primero y este te cuentan una tragedia, pero no esperes un survival o algo complejo. Es avanzar, matar si hay algo en medio y ver cinemáticas.

Ich habe beide Teile gespielt und bin sehr zufrieden und kann es nicht nachvollziehen was sich manche Leute so wünschen. Meiner Meinung nach ist eines der besten Spiele die je auf der PS 4 erscheinen sind. Die Grafik ist sehr gut und einfach nur genial. Die Story ist erwachsen und eine fast logische Konsequenz des ersten Teils. Ich kann es nicht verstehen das viele Menschen sagen, dass die Magie zerstört wurde. Ich hoffe auf einen dritten Teil, nur das es hoffentlich nicht so lange dauert bis er kommt.

The packaging was good and the game was fantastic

Sono state dette molte cose su questo titolo, anche troppe forse. Molto spesso ci si dimentica di essere obiettivi e di cercare di guardare le cose con occhio critico e di conseguenza se qualcosa non piace perchè "non era quello che mi aspettavo" o "io lo avrei fatto diversamente" automaticamente diventa qualcosa di universalmente fatto male o sbagliato. Last Of Us Parte 2 è un titolo crudo, con una sceneggiatura di qualità superba che non disdegna di prenderti a schiaffi in faccia quando meno te lo aspetti sin dalle prime battute. E' complicato descriverlo seza cadere nello Spoiler, perciò mi limiterò a descriverlo come l'ennesima dimostrazione che il videogame si può elevare a vera e propria forma d'Arte Narrativa al pari di Cinema e Letteratura. I personaggi e l'interpretazione degli attori con doppiaggio e motion capture sono incredibili. La modalità con la quale la storia procede e viene raccontata è qualcosa di inaspettato ma a mio avviso geniale. Il gamplay è godibilissimo, le meccaniche stealth sono state affinate notevolmente rispetto al primo titolo e il combattimento corpo a corpo è molto più fluido. Credo che il motivo principale per cui ad una consistente fetta di utenza non sia piaciuto è perchè Naughty Dog non è scesa a compromessi: la storia non è scontata e soprattutto non è pensata per darti una pacca sulla spalla o tenerti per la mano. E' una storia adulta e spietata, in un mondo (quello di Elli e Joel) spietato e con pochi bagliori di speranza. E' una storia di vendetta e di coraggio, ma anche di stupidità e amicizia. A me ha emozionato molto: avessi potuto dare 6 stelle su 5 le avrei messe.
