Here's a picture of me cold calling in my car. I need a laptop to use my CRM so I can eyeballed that while I call from my phone. This laptop works like a charm. I'm able to use the WiFi of McD. I'm not really network savvy. I'm a lady in my late 50s. If I can do this, anyone can set this up. I did buy the 2 year subscription so I can be okay if something goes wrong. I'm basically broke, and i'm scrambling hustling, trying to get some money in this culture that is very hard on me. I had to leave the house today because I still have a cleaning lady that comes every 3 weeks. And now, I know I can make calls when i need to go make a necessary travel. This little laptop is so handy. It comes with a charger, but the charger from my android works just fine. Don't be afraid to try this. If you know anything about the internet you'll just be fine.

This was a purchase for my daughter, and she wanted to buy her own Chromebook with her own money. We found this one that was within the price range she was looking for. And even though it was refurbished I figured it would be okay since I was planning on buying the protection plan through asurion. When she received the laptop it worked for about 2 days without any issues. Then it started randomly rebooting on her in the middle of using it and would not turn back on. She plugged it in to charge thinking the battery was dead on multiple times, and it would only restart on like the 50th try. Then it would stop working, reboot and repeat again. I called asurion to make a claim. They told me due to the multiple issues they could not replace or fix the Chromebook and referred me back to Amazon for a replacement. Amazon told me they could not replace the item, they could only refund the money. So my frustration is that I purchased a protection plan that can't be honored, and also a device that can't be fixed. I'd be furious if I hadn't bought the protection plan and Amazon wouldn't have refunded the money.

It took me months to make up my mind as to weather i wanted a brand new laptop or a refurbished one. Last year i bought a brand new one and it broke within a couple weeks and i couldn't get anyone to help me at the manufacturers so i just threw away $300 basically. I finally decided to go w this one and I've not had any major complaints. The charging cord they sent was junk and it took me about 2 weeks to figure that out and when i was just about to return to sender it dawned on me to check that! Laptop was in immaculate condition, absolutely NO SCRATCHES, AND arrived a couple days sooner than suppose to. Definitely would recommend this for maybe a starter computer for a teen or if your on a budget!!!

Sent the original one back (read review below) the day after receiving it and two days later the replacement one came. Much cleaner, no stickiness, cord looks brand new, scratches on screen and bottom of computer - but sort of expected that and it doesn’t detract from using it and is no more noticeable than what any other used computer has. Works like a charm! Would buy again - mine cost $63.00 and to me that’s a bargain. I only need it to connect to the Internet which it does - and quickly too. Only giving it 4 stars bc it the first one was so obviously unusable; quality control seems hit or miss. —- ORIGINAL REVIEW Arrived sticky and with a permanent error. The plug worked (I’m assuming bc the computer turned on but maybe it had held its charge?) The screen worked bc I could clearly see the permanent error message telling me “Chrome IOS is missing or damaged. Please remove all connected devices and start recovery.” Maybe that would have worked…? But when I touched the key pad and finger pad literally nothing happened. There’s no quality control bc it took all of 30 seconds to open it up and turn it on and see the message…that wouldn’t / couldn’t go away. Sending it back for a an exchange. Will update my review when I get the second one.

Ordered this for my daughter for her birthday and immediately got nervous after reading some of the reviews. I messaged the seller my concerns. They responded back very quickly and ensured me they would double check everything to make sure it was in great shape. It came and everything worked perfectly after an os update. My daughter is super happy. Will be ordering another one for my son! Thank you.

Excellent condition...Excellent purchase

Came in the wrong color and has these weird bumps. The charger as did not want to work but did eventually. It does work and turns on which is good.

Bought a laptop for work - mostly needed it for Google Docs and Sheets. -Laptop runs smoothly -Holds battery decently for a few hours -Lightweight and small which makes it easy to carry around -Neatly syncs with your Android device making life a lot easier For <$100 that's better than I expected. Keep in mind that Chrome OS is pretty useless without a stable internet connection, so manage your expectations accordingly. One minor downside is that the one I got came with a pretty big scratch on the bottom, and some crumbs on the keyboard. The scratch isn't very noticeable at first glance, and the crumbs were easy to take off with compressed air spray. The device is clearly labelled as refurbished, so I'm not going to dock any stars because of that.
